Spamming
Spamming will not be tolerated. If you are caught spamming with the intention of receiving a higher post count, we will zero out your post count. Other forms of spamming could meet warns. One bump per topic is allowed. Double posting when topic is one of the top 15 topics will be considered spam.
Flaming
Flaming is a very bad crime to us. Religious flaming has its own forum, so take it there. If you hate us enough to riot our fourms, we will not hesitate to shut them down while the IP bans come through. Otherwise, attacking another user is worthy of a warn.
Discrimination
Since part of our idea is to provide a place where atheists are free from discrimination, we act with ruthless efficiency toward those who compromise this over sex, race, sexual orientation, or (in some cases) religion.
Swearing
You may not say certain words. These words are filtered. If you deliberately get around these filters (ie, sh!t) then you will be warned.
Multiple Accounts
Are banned. IP banned.
Questionable Websites
No porn. You want a porn forum, go make your own. No piracy. If you can't find a p2p network without us, you're probably not ready for it.
NO VIRUSES SPYWARE TROJANS ETC. I will ban, by IP, everyone who does this and change their signature to a humiliating thing of my choosing.
Religious Opinions
You will not be banned for holding religious opinions. What you will be banned for is preaching. Any thread that attempts to preach to us will result in a three day ban for first offense, and permaban for the second.
Moderators and Admins
This forum is starting with two admins and three mods, hopefully. You will show respect. This does not mean obedience or total subservience. It means that you aren't going to mock them or provoke them.
Don't ask for promotion. If a mod asks to be an admin, I will not hesitate to demod him for a week. If an admin asks to become Supreme Commander of Doom...he needs help. Ordinary users just get moved down the list of those who will get modship.
