TAYLOR JONATHAN KUMAMOTO

1. What is your name? Who named you? Why? Do you have a nickname?
A: My name is Taylor Jonathan Kumamoto. I know it sounds weird. I was named Taylor Jonathan by my parents because it sounds American and they wanted me to fit in, in Malibu. My friends all call me TJ.

2. Who are your parents, names, ages? Any siblings?
A: My fathers name is Daiki and he is 45, my mothers name is Hanaka and she is 43 and my older sisters name is Aiko and she’s seventeen. Yep I’m the only one in the family with a Western name.

3. Where were you born? Where did you grow up? What brought you to Malibu or Why did you transfer to P.C.A.? (if your a student)
A: I was born in Malibu and have lived here my whole life. I started going to PCA because it’s the best school that my parents could find that was located conveniently close to home.

4. What is your birthdate? How old are you?
A: I was born on the 4th of June and I am 16 this year.

5. What grade are you in?
A: 10th.

6. What do you want to be when you get older?
A: I’m edging towards being a lawyer, fighting with my sister has been fun over the years.

8. What is your favorite thing to do?
A: Other than fighting with Aiko? I’d have to say that I enjoy going swimming and just generally hanging around with my friends.

9. What are some of your likes? Dislikes?
A: I love swimming and rock music, going to parties is always fun, my friends, my family, reading, extreme sports, BMX riding, travelling and finally Japanese anime (corny I know).
I don’t really like dance music, not winning, bad grades (I’m a bit of a nerd), blue screen of death (damn bsd), football, chick flicks and girls who complain to me about their friends or clothes (to be honest I don’t really care).

10. Are the majority of your friends guys, or girls?
A: I have a lot of guy friends but also a lot of girl friends, I love hanging out with both.

11. Did you want to come to Malibu/P.C.A.?
A: Yeah sure, it’s just another school and if it helps me get into Harvard or Yale.

12. How would you describe yourself, in five words?
A: Happy, smart, playful, friendly, committed.

13. What are your flaws?
A: I can get pretty arrogant when it comes to class work and I also have a bad habit of getting obsessive with things, especially school work but also other things. I’m hopeless when it comes to girls too, I never notice when they’re flirting with me I just think it’s a normal conversation up until one of my friends finally takes pity on me and tells me what’s going on.

14. What annoys you the most?
A: F’s, actually anything bellow a B. I also hate being called a nerd but I know why they do.

15. Do you get along with your family?
A: Yeah, we’re real close even though me and Aiko fight all of the time we’re still pretty good friends.

16. Are you a shy person? Or more on the outgoing side?
A: I’m pretty outgoing, I’ll make friends with anyone.

17. Are you a virgin?
A: Yes, but let’s keep that quiet.

18. How do you like to dress?
A: In clothes…normally I just stick to jeans and t-shirts but I do have a favourite denim jacket I wear all of the time.

19. Do you believe in love?
A: Don’t know yet, ask me in ten years.

20. Who was your first boyfriend/girlfriend? How old were you?
A: I was in grade one, there was this girl called Keira who I didn’t really like in that way but Aiko had told me about dating so Keira and I decided we would date. By the end of recess we had forgotten about it though.

21. Do you regret anything in your life?
A: Not at the moment.

22. Do you have any secrets? If so, what are they?
A: I have a secret stash of DragonballZ dvd’s in a box under my bed.

23. Do you have any pets?
A: I have a goldfish named Frank that Aiko got me for my birthday.
