-World of Alagaësia is open to anyone, but is designed for fans of the Inheritance trilogy by Christopher Paolini. There are spoilers for both Eragon and Eldest on this message board.

-No spamming or trolling.

-Please do not use "1337" or net-speak in the RP forums; however, in the General area, it's fine, but try to keep it to a minimum.

-Please only register to play as one canon character (the exception to this would be the twin elves from the Blood-Oath Celebration.) The dragons are considered part of a Dragon Rider's character, and will be played by the person who controls the Rider. To find out which canon characters have been claimed, please click here.

**At this time, I'm placing a ban on Elf characters. We have several non-canon Elves, and I would like to see more humans and maybe even some Dwarves. I would also like to see some more characters on the side of Galbatorix, as well.

-To make sure everyone can understand everyone else, please use the following guidelines:

Speech should be in "bolded quotations."
Thought should be in 'italic single quotes.'
Any other languages, such as Dwarf and Urgal, should be in "bolded and underlined quotations."
The Ancient Language, when spoken, should be in "double-quoted bold italics". In thought, and for mind-speak, use 'single-quote bold italics'. When being referenced in description, use regular italics.

-Please do not place link buttons in signatures; there is an advertising forum for that. Text links are okay as long as they are size 3 font or less.

-God-modding will not be tolerated. Also, please try to stay with the plot as much as possible. This does not apply to unclaimed characters (see below).

-Do not control another person's character without their permission.

-When a person wants their character to be killed in a battle, he/she should ask another RP-er to kill their character, and then I (Kerriel) should be informed via PM so that I can verify (and so I don't suspect anyone of god-modding).

-Non-claimed canon characters can be played by anyone at any time; however, once a character has been claimed, please respect that and do not use the character any more.

-The storyline of this RP is fan-created, so not all characters will be canon, and not all plots will follow the expected storyline of the third book. If you have a problem with this, then I recommend not joining this forum.

In order for your character to be approved, you have to put the phrase "Du Vrangr Gata" in green font on your character sheet, to prove you read the rules
