Once a post for the Dragon Riders, it has long been abandoned, standing as a reminder of the glory days of the Riders. Perhaps it will soon be inhabited again...?

Hadarac Desert
Was once part of the Empire while the Dragon Riders were at their height, but it has been lost to King Galbatorix. It takes up most of central Alagaësia, and is inhabited by nomad tribes who are consantly warring over territory and resources. To journey across on foot or horseback is dangerous, as there is no food or water to be found.
