A.ldeil had made it over the Hadarac desert. He had brought what he thought was enough water to traverse the beastly desert. He was wrong. Aldeil ran out of water three-quarters of the way through the desert. Aldeil did not know what to do when he ran out of water Then he remembered hearing about how Eragon had crossed the Hadarac, and how he had used magic to bring water to the surface. He decided this was his only hope. Aldeil dug a shallow hole in the ground and then gripped at the magic, and the corners of his mind. He pulled forth the water, and it came easily. Aldeil was so overjoyed, that he lost concentration and the water receded back into the earth. He laughed to himself as this happened.
Aldeil had made it out of the Hadarac, and was now headed for Gil’ead. The outpost of the once great Durza. This is where Aldeil would meet the men of his new master. Galbatorix.
The second Aldeil was out of the forest he was scouted by a soldier. Seeing a dwarf here he hesitated. They were not used to it. But that did not last long. Aldeil did not try and defend himself. He wanted to be captured. They took to him to the cities stronghold. There they questioned him, but he told them he would say nothing until he could speak with Galbatorix. So the guards left him. He only hoped they would return with Galbatorix, and not return only to kill him.
