It was odd really, traveling to the borders of another wolf. She out of all persons travelling to a pack, trying to seek to work her way in. Although… perhaps she could set herself up with a new challenge. Yes, if she was accepted, she could corrupt the pack from the inside out. However, that would take too long and be too tiresome. Perhaps this forming pack would actually hold some entertainment to her. That is- when of course she was not seeking to remain alone for her little time of refuge. Normally she would be alone being her own boss. Maybe she would challenge the current Alpha, seeking to end his life and gain the title. Yet, it would be something unnecessary for her to do. Maybe the Alpha would do a good job being the head of the pack.

Ah, now what is this- this scent of another entering her sensitive nostrils? The Alpha, male... but.... what, now a female? She snorted and let out a chuckle. Perhaps the Alpha got himself a mate. Ugh, gross, that is, if the female got the rank the way she thought it did. The female could be all weak perhaps and only gain the title because she is the 'mate' of the Alpha. The title of Alpha should only be reserved for those who earn it or are born with the natural right as sons and daughters of Alphas to rule. Stupid weak wolves that got positions just because the others favored them for their looks or personality, not looking for the all-around qualities of a good leader and mother made her scowl. What a pain this would be, a thorn in her side if what she was curiously thinking over was in fact true. One way to find out though wasn't there? Lifting her head she proudly let out a melody, enlightening the Alpha now that there was another pondering on the outside of his border.

I strolled over to the boarders, following the call of another female. There was a spring in my step, as one might say, I was one happy bunny. The thought of the female I had met today still throbbed in my mind, she was powerful, beautiful in my own mind.

I strayed further towards the boarder, not closer to the new female. I increased my speed slightly and trotted closer. "Why hello there" i said, stopping now i was nearer to her. "May i ask why you were howling for me?" i asked, giving her a small smile.

I raised my tail in dominance and my hackles rose ever so slightly. She didn't llook like much of a threat but ya'know, you have to keep up aperences and all that. This is my packland.

Hm... The scent of a dominant male was getting closer. The female's ears perked, getting a little edgy now that the wolf was coming closer. Her nose picked up the scent of the male as it grew stronger. It pretty much seemed he was coming her way. The female wolf stood to her full height with ears alert and tail relaxed. Perhaps this wouldn't be too bad, would it?

She looked upon the male as he emerged and started to speak. She nodded in turn and then nodded her head once again. "Yes, I howled for you." she said conversationally. She was trying to be polite, making sure she didn't get herself in trouble. "I'm Shiray..." she began, wondering if he was even paying attention. "Why I'm here is pretty obvious. Perhaps I can join your pack?" Well that was bluntly put. Wow... this was going smoothly and easily, almost too easily.

I gave a small smile, she looked polite, curtainly not getting herself into trouble. I liked that, and while dealing with trouble makers was indeed, sometimes fun, dealing with a politer wolf was alway easier. She stated her name and i nodded, Shiray, well, she seemed tactful.

"Obvious?" I questioned "you could have been howling to simply walk through the boundry and packland, you never know." I gave a small chuckle a looked at Shiray. I was in need of pack members and to be honest she looked like woudl make a good pack member.

"Nice to meet you Shiray, and you may join the pack" i gave her a nod "my own name is Talos, and welcome".

Hm, so the brute was somewhat teasing her. Oh well, it didn't bother her, yet anyway. She nodded to him. Getting accepted into this pack was easier than she expected. Her ears pricked as she heard him speak again. His name was Talos. What an interesting name. "Talos..." she started, testing his name on her tongue. "Thank you for letting me join." she stated simply to cover up the rest. What was wrong with her? She wasn't the one to be all polite. Oh well, there was really nothing around here to toy with. Oh well. Perhaps there would be more pack members soon.
