ok so i guess this goes without saying but this is the most major cause of destruction today, the cause for really hot summers really cold winter and heavy rainfall personally we can all do little things to save the planet so if we all get together and work on it it will slow down and eventually stop like for example grow a tree take a shower instead of a bath...u have any ideas?

I have to recycle all my waste.I have a bin for paper,bin for plastic & cans, bin for glass.Also a very large brown compost bin for all garden refuse & leftover food,egg shells,used tea-bags etc.It was a nuisance at first,but now it is the norm,I try & turn off all standby plugs.I have only a shower so I'm saving some water.it is very worrying.A lot of this has come from all forests that have been cut down unfortunately,many lives have been lost because of mud slides.

Thanks Jan,yes our council provides us with the bins so it makes sense to do our bit for the environment. :)

I actually got a list of things people could do to help.. It's things like:

* - Drive less
* - Recycle more
* - Use less hot water
* - Avoid products with a lot of packaging
* - Turn off electronic devices, when it's not being used..
etc..

I know Rose.People won't even try to save here & there.I do all the things you hav e on the list.I can't drive,so I have to walk or get a bus.but I mainly walk everywhere.I just wish people would do more because it is the future which will be in trouble. :)

I got it in school a few months ago, because we were going to write an essay about this..

And it's true.. It's not much people have to do, yet still it's hard for some to do this..

I like this Gloria!. Recycling is very important in this moment to save our planet.

I have a green wheelie bin for garden waste, a blue one for plastic bottles and glass and a grey one for non recycle rubbish and a brown bag for cardboard, paper and magaiznes.

I think its a very good thing to recycle and it shouldhuge be always done I know at times it can be hard to do but if everyone does what they can no matter how big or small it can make a huge difference in the long run.
