Title: Feb 2011 Newsletter

monkalup - February 5, 2011 04:46 PM (GMT)
Greetings!

I hope this letter finds you all happy and healthy in this new year. Many challenges and even more opportunities await us! We are celebrating the one year anniversary of the launching of our wonderful database!
I wanted to let you know about another exciting innovation that Pilgrim has created for us. In addition to the wonderful and ever growing database at http://www.missing-and-unidentified.org he has now added Wiki pages for missing persons. All it takes is registering and anyone can create a page for missing or unidentified persons. There is no need to know code, the pages are literally as easy to create as an email! We have a few added already! Check it out! http://www.missing-and-unidentified.org/wi...g_persons:start

You can sign up to create wikipages here http://www.missing-and-unidentified.org/wi...ku.php?id=start and see the simple instructions.

As we rapidly approach our fifth anniversary at Porchlight on March 1, we would like to remind everyone that we still offer ad-free, cost-free websites for anyone who wants a page for a missing loved one. Please help us spread the word about all the wonderful and innovative tools Pilgrim has placed at our fingertips.

Keeping in mind our agenda, or mission statement, of “Porchlight for the Missing and the Unidentified is an organization of volunteers who work on finding the missing and restoring names to the unidentified. We seek to create a working environment that fosters the sharing of information and suggestions with Law Enforcement, Medical Examiners and the Media. We seek to create a group where opinions and work product are respected and appreciated. We seek to create an atmosphere of respect, tolerance and an appreciation of others.
We seek.” we invite you to help us spread the word. Every pair of eyes searching is another beacon of hope for the lost. I applaud you all for shining your light.

Sincerely
Lauran Halleck
