Unidentified White Female
The victim was discovered on August 7, 1991 on Highway A3 near Frankfurt, Germany
Estimated age: 25 years old
Approximate Height and Weight: 168 cm (5'6")
Distinguishing Characteristics: Reddish blonde hair.
Both ears were pierced. Noticeable lump in the size of a cherry on cranial bone 6 cm (~2.3 inches) above left ear. Prominent stretch marks, 3 scars between 1 and 4 cm (0.39- inches) length on upper left and lower left arm near elbow, 4 cm (1.56) slightly upward bent scar below left kneecap. Appendix was apparently still present. She might have previously broken her collarbone.
Dentals: Only few minor fillings, she had perhaps somehow received more an additional amount of fluoride in her childhood years as a precaution against tooth decay (might have been added to drinking water as it was practiced for instance in Scandinavia) the filling material she had is often used in Switzerland or Scandinavia.
Jewelry: A silver necklace, 50 cm long, with a pendant in shape of a Dutch silver shoe, 1.2 cm long with two imprinted windmills (blue/white). A ring with a colorless zircon stone, 4mm, ring width 53, probably manufactured in France. A Swatch watch with a flexible Doublé bracelet. A ring with a turquoise stone, 4.5 x 3.5 mm, ring width 58. A silver earring, diameter 1.5 cm.
Postmortem exams revealed that the victim got run over by a car at least once while she was still alive and lying on the ground. The cause of death was heavy blood loss resulting from severe inner contusions. There were no signs of foul play. She was last seen alive some time during the day on August 7, 1991 at the motorway service area/restaurant Fernthal. http://doenetwork.org/cases/336ufdeu.html
