Spoke with Faye Hester, Alabama center for Missing Children... She said she had notified Montgomery LE about the possible match and that they were not interested and just kept saying he was AWOL.. she advised me to contact Air Force Special Investigations which I just E-mailed....

called 334-277-4021 listed as Maxwell air force base general number. no answer?
soooo I called the Air Force Base in Charleston's JAG office. They are going to have an investigator call me back, Maybe we can get in the back door.
The number I previously called for the military personnel office is no longer in service. Called information and was told the number is no longer listed for that office "upon request of the customer" sigh.
I don't know about ya'll but I think government offices of all type should be accessible to a citizen. sigh

I snail mailed the FBI in Mobile and the FBI in Montgomery this possible match.
Lets see if anything happens now.

wow that was fast!
We have not been able to confirm or deny at this time. We do not believe it is going to be related but we have requested the state to perform DNA. That will probably take a couple of years. Our turn around on DNA analysis is around 1 ½- 2 years.
