Case 0003, Yorkshire, 1993
A man was killed north of Thirsk railway station, York on 8th January 1993. He was thought to be between 30 and 50 years of age and under 5ft 8in tall. He was smartly dressed in a 'James Barry' double breasted grey suit, red and white gingham check, open neck shirt, a checked cloth cap and a black 'Vartex' overcoat (size 40). It is thought he may have been hitch-hiking between south west Scotland and Yorkshire.
