Unlike most late fall days, the weather was especially warm. A brisk wind flew through the streets, picking up the dried rust painted leaves and scattering them across the cold sidewalks. The amber sun clung low in the sky, warming up city with the gentle streaks of light. However, it was nowhere close enough to make it warm enough to discard jackets and walk in the streets. The streets were glowing an orange hue because of the sunset, distorting the vibrantly colored store fronts and neon signs, making it seem slightly redder than normal. All except one, the Mulberry Cafe.
Noah sat quietly at a table off the corner of the cafe. The chocolate colored table was scattered and covered with several stacks of crusty old newspapers and a velvet coffee mug, filled to the brim with the cafe's special, a caramel mint cappuccino. An obnoxious scribbling could be heard from the table, as Noah graffitied the entire newspaper classified with his vicious thick red marker. X's and O'x covered the page, in his attempt to find an actual job, for the time being.
Soon, he scribbled his way down to the bottom of the newspaper, pulling the newspaper off the table with a heavy pull, flicking it off the table and then folding it into a neat little rectangle. Throwing the newspaper to the tiled floor, it landed on another stack of newspapers, now all crumpled and drawn over by the red marker. With a stack several inches high, it makes people wonder how in the world that pen still has ink. Quickly, he set the pen aside, exchanging it for his now cooled cup of joe. Looping his finger through the ear of the mug, he pulled the mug up to his mouth and poured nearly half of the cup into the crack between his lips.
Quickly, he set the mug back down before pulling out another newspaper from the stack and beginning another game of tic-tac toe with the newspaper.

It was not exactly the time for such a creature of the night to be out and about but with a big party tommorow night and only a small engagment tonight, there seemed to be nothing else to do but shop. However, the day was comming to a close and the nocturnal animals were begining to emerge. For once in her young life though, a nocturnal animal did not feel like joining those of her breed and instead decided to enter the cafe shop on the corner of the street she was walking on. The street was named Mulberry as was the cafe and it was av very popular spot for the rich and famous to gather for a quick low fat mochachino or other such delights that the cafe served. The rich and the famous that gathered there were those of international fame and some who were just begining to ascend to stardom. One of those faces, the nocturnal animal mentioned earlier was at the top of the ranks. For this week only, the face of the creature had been displayed on three different magazine covers. This was one of the elite. The a-listers. One of those that everyone wanted to be and seldom ever became. This particular Gucci bag slinging Jimmy Choo wearing a-lister was none other than the teen star Zara Sandro.
In Hollywood there was a large distinction of who really had fame and who didn't. Those who were blessed with the real fame were the ones that were able to chose their movies, or t.v. series, or even who would appear on their next album. These were the ones that the papparazzi clamoured to get a picture of. Zara was such a person. The papparazzi hounded her constantly and begged her to smile for a picture or comment on the latest scandal. It was the worst part of being famous. However, Zara seemed to thrive on the scandal that she could create and all the situations that turned the papparazzi attention onto her. In all honesty, Zara was a party girl and one who loved to get into as much trouble as she possibly could. It was almost a challange to her. She would see how much more trouble she could get into each time she went out. Sometimes it had bad consequences as Zara had learned. She had found out that getting into one too many times could be dangerous and the papparazzi always criticized her for being too foward and out of control. Tonight, and every other night, Zara could care less. She lived by the saying, 'live fast die young leave a pretty corpse.'
Tonight seemed to be starting off pretty tame though. Zara had had an screen test at the crack of stupid that morning and had been up since then. After her screen test, she had an interview on a day-time talk show. Following that had been lunch before a photoshoot. She had only just been released to spend a few hours shopping before she headed home to get ready for the party at one of the a-listers houses. It had been a crazy day as most were in the life of the teenage star and she was in the mood for a bit of down time. Zara had decided that grabbing a latte before heading back home to get ready for the party. Tonight she would be ready for trouble but as for now, a caffine bost to get her excited for the party was exactly what she needed. Zara entered the cafe on the corner of Mulberry and looked around. For the time of day and the day of the week, the cafe was surprisingly full. However, Zara recgonized no one and headed to the counter to order her beverage. Once Zara had recived her drink, she turned around to see most people staring at her. Rolling her eyes, Zara headed for a table at the back where somone was attacking a newspaper. Taking a seat across from the man, Zara flashed a charming smile. "Hey, mind if I sit here? Everyone else is staring at me..." Zara said taking a sip of her drink.
