gossip magazine the magazine So, just like the real life stardom, you have to deal with the press. The Gossip Magazine is a bi-weekly magazine, and it's posted on every friday. The point of the magazine is to inform the public about all there is about the characters. However, just like in real life, the press is known for being highly exaggerated! the paparazzi A magazine can't be published without reporters right? So that's where the paparazzi come in. The paparazzi will practically hunt you down and try to get all the information about your life! I've developed a system which has equal chances for all to be hunted down by the paparazzi. The people who get hunted are chosen at random by a random number generator. Long story short, we number every active character during those few days and then use a random number generator to get who's the lucky fella. Then, we number their currently active threads and then repeat the same thing. The one we get is the one invaded.
I can assure you that the paparazzi choices are not biased. Unless a number generator is biased, then I'm pretty sure that's not the case.
However, there are certain places which the paparazzi can't reach. Such as your house and your private posts. There is also a [private] tag which can only be used once every two weeks. With the private tag, paparazzi aren't allowed to enter that thread and get the scoop! However, all members of the thread cannot have used their private tags already that two weeks. For example, lets say person 1 and person 2 are RPing with a private tag. If person 1 already used their tag before but person 2 haven't, it doesn't work. So save them for those occasions that you want to keep secret!
Lastly, the paparazzi also have a mailbox! You're probably wondering what that has to do with anything. Well, perhaps you're feeling happy and you want to share the love, you could mail them with the latest news about your character's life. Likewise, if you're feeling annoyed at someone and you know a secret of theirs, you could also send it into the mail. Of course, anonymous mailing is available for those of you who want to keep their reputation. Evil isn't it? And of course, if one of the articles in the latest edition is wrong, you could always mail in to complain.
