What kind of weird stuff has happened to your national team for Beijing? Just post it here.
Belgium... First we had trouble for our selection of the football (soccer for Americans) team. There were 2 persons who were difficult to get in the team, because their other team won't let them play in the national team (which pretty much always loses...). So eventually, they both got to come along to the Olympic Games. First match: Belgium vs Brazil. We were doomed to lose. Even though we played an excellent match, we lost with 0-1. Funny thing. We got 2 red cards. The 2 players who where hard to get in the first place. One of them got red because he ran right next to a brazilian player, he brazilian stops and the belgian bumps softly with his hand on the back of the brazilian. f*ing brazilians :P |

wtf
we dont have a football team at the olympics cos we dont play footy as great britain, only as the 4 constituent countries. Was watching the archery and since im part of an archery club and do it twice weekly, went down and found out that the distances they were competing at werent too difficult with the same size boss face and distance. 2012 anyone? :P This post has been edited by Flib on Aug 10 2008, 10:39 AM |

Not Surprising.
I tihk we'll do well in the velodrome cycling and the rowing. 6 medals for each I think. |

Well, Norway has 1 or 2 silver I think, but nothing more... :(
But then again, we have a very good handball team and we are doing good in rowing and beach volleyball. :D |

Belgium beat Italy with 3-2 in footbal!!! Our last hope for a medal at the games now lies in the hands of the sport we suck in the most! :P |
