dekstop?

ive noticed an annoying problem with my desktop wallpapers. if i view them in windows photo gallery they are very sharp, detailed, and have more contrast.

when i set them as my desktop background they lose quality and become the contrast goes down by alot.

is there a way to fix this? D:

in firefox and windows photo gallery its darker
in photoshop and on my desktop its lighter

if i open it in firefox and set as as my wallpaper from there, it sets it the way i want (dark). but if i have the pic saved and set it from there, its lighter

i know the problem & its not really a problem... set your refresh rate higher... i wish i could remember more about this but i dont lol

I think the quality loss happens due to the fact that your wallpaper's res isn't the same as your desktop's, so maybe it stretches it or something.. causing the quality loss. besides that, i don't really understand the mozilla/photoshop problem.

yeah the only reason i can think of is Res. Maybe reset your desktop resolution? It may be lying :0

yeah rook thats what im thinking and no its not the res, firefox force shrinks not expand & he would notice if it was shrunk lol

get rid of firefox and use safari

^ I havent read the whole article on that but with a quick scan apparently you can change the res of your photo. Try that =/.
