Karisma had moved in Briar Creek a few weeks ago after wanting a fresh start after the whole issue with Danny went down. She had reported him two years ago and it was still hard that she had to see him walking down the street after he got out on bail by his current girlfriend. No longer afraid, she just wanted to live her life to the fullest that she could possibly even do with her being a were-leopard. Even though she was a wereleopard, she was afraid of heights and spiders at some points. How funny was that, though? She was basically an animal and she had the fears of most females.

Even though her penthouse was still needing furniture in the space, she loved how big it was. That was the one thing in New York. Everything was big. Her life was slowly getting back on track. She had never ever thought that she could be happy after she had left Danny Constello. God, he had been the worst part of her life. When she had got away from him, she had been so terrified for the longest time. It wasn't until her brother, Giovanni, and her sister, Rachel, confronted her that maybe counseling would be good for her.

After deciding that she wanted to get some fresh air since she had the day off today from the club later tonight, she woke up in the mid-morning around ten. One thing about her was she loved her sleep and anyone would be damned if they woke her up before ten in the morning. After she took a hot shower in her shoulder, she dried off, sliding on a pair of blue bra and matching, lace panties. She frowned as she decided to leave her hair up. She only put on eye liner and lipstick for makeup.

Then, she slid on a pair of black jeans that hugged her curves, a brown, simply top, a brown matching sweater, and a pair of boots to keep her toes warm from the cold weather outside. She hated the cold and she wished that it was spring or summer time since she hated it when it rained or when the wind was out.

Making it out the door after she grabbed her keys, she decided to walk to her destination, and it was actually a pretty day where there wasn't one spec of wind out today. How lucky was she? She smirked as she walked along the sidewalk after she was out of the apartment complex.

As she rounded the corner, the forest where she phased into a leopard, and she walked into it. She instantly felt like she was at home and she couldn't wipe the smile from her face that the forest could always cause. She had been walking for a few minutes when she turned around. Nothing. And then, she saw the man in front of her, and she raised an eyebrow.

"Um, can I help you with something?" Karisma asked him with a raised eyebrow as she looked over at his face and she bit down on her lower lip, hoping he wasn't some stalker.
