The world has Died.
The dead still roam our world- taking lives, happiness- the rest of death is no more in a time lived in fear of every shadow. If the zombies don't get you, if the starvation doesn't kick in.. there's always someone out there willing to do the worst to survive. California took quick efforts to restore order- while there are strict curfews and teams devoted to cleanse the areas.. Zombies still roam. Order doesn't exist, and life is no longer lived in the fast lane. Movies.. Cds.. none of that matters. Human decency is something of a mystery, and soon the worst in people began to surface. There was still some of us, however, that held to goodness In make shift strongholds. Some of the grandest places in the world are now our homes. We found our refuge. Civilization begins again. Already side communities are springing up, and while there is never a day without conflict, those remaining try at survival. The existence is pale in reference to the way we had once lived; once reliant on companies and manufacturers for our survival, we have to rely on ourselves in small, fortified communities.
This isn't our world anymore.

When the Commune runs low on supplies, there's only ever one answer to the problem- a supply run. Sure, it sounds easy in theory, but with the Los Hambrientos hot on the horizon and zombies still roaming, it's certainly going to be a bumpy ride.
