Here at SfS, we want to make roleplaying a pleasant experience for everyone. So, no secret phrases, no tiny font and no ridiculously long applications or minimum word limits. There are, however, some guidelines we would appreciate you following.

GENERAL CONDUCT

Staff have final say
This goes for bios, OOC conflict between members and anything else where we might be called in to mediate.

No flaming/bigotry/other OOC insult types
We realise that an insult IC can produce a little drama, but there really is no call for it out of character. Keep it clean and friendly please!

POSTING

Swearing, sex and bodily fluids
Given the assumed nature of the students, swearing and violence will be allowed, although with excessively graphic violence we request that a not be added to the original post as a warning. Scenes of a sexual nature are not permitted on site, but maybe played out via PM if necessary. If it actually gets that far in-thread, then a simple fade to black will suffice.

God-modding and powerplaying
Quite simply, don't. No character is invincible, and the only character you are allowed to control is your own. You can hit out at another character, but only that character's player can decide if the hit actually connects.

eg. John hit Jim dead in the jaw, busting his lip and smashing a couple of teeth
is power-playing. A better way to write it would be:
John hit out, his fist heading straight for Jim's jaw with enough power to... etc.

GRAPHICS

Play-bys/AV claims
We do not accept the following as play-bys: anime/cartoon characters, computer games graphics, myspace 'celebrities'. This is a school for disillusioned almost-criminals, bear that in mind please.

Graphics sizes
Avatars can be no larger than 100x100 pixels. Sigs can be as large as 500 pixels wide by 250 pixels high for single graphics, or a maximum of 8 100x100 icons.

[list]Accounts
SfS is an accounts per character site, meaning that you can have more than one character, but you need to have separate accounts for them. In order to qualify for an extra account, you must have a minimum of 50 posts on any previous accounts. In order to keep things roughly equal genderwise, if your first character is female then a second character who is male would be preferred.
