Before you post up your character application:

- read the board rules
- read the school rules to make sure you know what behaviour, dress etc. is appropriate
- read the "years" thread to understand where your student should be. 14 is the oldest age at which a student can be new to the school, so if you create a new character please bear in mind that they've been at the school for some time already.

A few things to bear in mind:

- international students are very limited
- emo/scene isn't going to work here because of the school rules on dress, makeup and hair
- your character can't be good at everything
- no matter how much you think your character is slutty, miniskirts are against school rules and if your character is caught sleeping around by a staff member there will be consequences.
- no mobile phones can be used on school grounds, except for staff
- try to have parents. This is an expensive private school, a kid who has no parents/doesn't speak to their parents would have almost no chance of being at the school unless they got a scholarship - and the school usually only gives out part-scholarships, not full.
- please, try to keep the dramatic histories to a minimum. A normal, average childhood doesn't mean your character is boring!
