-Season-
OMFG! It is Summer!!! Spring is over and its going to get HOT.

-Weather-
Alright since its summer its getting warmer. The nights are still fairly cool, and a day or two now and then is alright, not to hot. But others will either force you inside witht he air, or in a cold pool. Our Reptiles will love it, but shade even for them will be desired. Just as much as they love heat, to much can also kill them. Keep that in mind! But still there are gloomy and cloudy days even in Summer. Lets hear it for the BEACH!

Throughout the morning he had slept in the solitude of their living room. The television remained off and the only noise disrupting the early afternoon’s silence was the subtle sounds of breathing that came from the two napping figures. The first form was a small but steadily growing dog, it held large pointed ears and long legs that were comfortable drawn up against his chest so he would not fall off of the man that he was sleeping on top of. He was a jackal, the golden hues in his coat would have given it away in an instant, but luckily for him, he hadn’t been so easily spotted within the city.

The one that accompanied the mutt was a rather peaceful looking man. However, the virtuousness he revealed now was not something that came around often- it didn’t come around at all when he was awake. He held untidy blonde tresses with a mildly tanned upper body, which was bare to show off his muscular frame to any who wished to see. He loved to flaunt, even when he slept he somehow managed to uphold a grace and handsomeness that it seemed only cats had accomplished.

They seemed completely relaxed where they were, the rain gently hitting the glass as the summer storm progressed. Both had remained abnormally still but comfortable as they continued with their slumber on the couch- neither were bothered by the other, in fact the two had grown close these last few weeks. They were becoming friends again, as they had once been before.

Caww had forgotten Justus’s wish for him dead, and his feelings for Victoria had vanished, he was submissive and quiet, only requesting for food when he became hungry. Justus enjoyed this and quickly accepted him back into the house, despite their strange battle a month or so earlier.

Now look at them… sound asleep like two little kids.

Ricker burst through the front door and came in quickly to the living room, startling Caww who hurriedly jumped off Justus who sat up the instant his cousin neared them.

*YOU WILL NOT FUCKING BELIEVE WHAT I JUST FOUND OUT!* The man roared with obvious excitement before collapsing down into the lazy-boy recliner on the opposite side of Justus. Both he and Caww were now watching Ricker with wide eyes waiting for some dramatic explination, but it was becoming apparent that this insight was not coming.

*Well?* Justus inquired lowly, his brows lifting curiously before pausing and watching his own family with obvious annoyance.

*Dane- Well... the plan worked.*

There was a long moment of questioning silence before Justus burst into laughter and Caww stalked out of the room for a few minutes. Ricker was pleased with himself and Justus seemed absolutely delighted, *How come you're just finding out now?*

*It's a long story... But fuck... It's funny as hell-* Ricker snorted and Justus silenced him by holding up a single finger.

*We're starting shit Ricker. This is the start of something- I can feel it. Not just against Dominic but the city. We're gonna rule this place, and we're going to do it by getting the main people under our power.*

*Like?* Ricker asked and Justus merely smiled before he drew in a soft sigh then continued.

*We're starting a war with everyone, like Lucifer and those others... the one with the girl, remember the one i told you about? The one with blonde hair... Nakomis... Her family- she mentioned something about them... You gotta help me Ricker... You've gotten into it this far, are you gonna back out?*

Ricker quickly shook his head as he watched Justus get to his feet. *Vicky! You gotta come with us tonight, we're gonna go start some trouble... What do you say baby doll, you wanna join in?* Justus whispered as he walked down the hall, peering into a few rooms in hopes of finding her, *Nobody is gonna die, we're just gonna rough em' up a bit.*

She sat in one of the upper rooms on the floor, on a rug, with a billion and a half papers around her as she attempted to organize. She was starting to work from home again and had picked up more than enough files from the office where Robert had taken over for her and her father in this part of the country. She was getting bored when Justus left, so she worked when she wanted, and at home where she felt safe.

Being upstairs didnt cause a problem about hearing almost everything in the house. Most of the rooms were left open, so voices carried. Now if the doors were shut, that would be a far different story. Nothing could be heard if you locked yourself in a room. Good house, very good house.

Considering that. She heard everything that was going on downstairs and didnt exactly like it. She didnt like getting involved with other shapeshifters because they were either agressive, or clashed with Justus, or they just wanted to be left alone. The name brought up made her freeze in her shuffling of papers. She knew that name. Knew it well actually. Thing was, she didnt know Justus knew Nakomis.

Turning her head she looked towards the door to the room with narrowed eyes. Watching as if she was waiting for Justus to suddenly appear. She knew Nakomis because she had gone to high school with the girl and her rather protective older brother, who by the way had always been attractive in her eyes. She'd even hung out with Landon and his friends a time or two, but normally had remained with her own crowd. Nakomis had been in the more advanced classes, but she had had a class with her within the four years. She'd gotten along well with her to. Sweet girl. Shy, but willing to get to know anyone who spoke a single word to her.

Thinking further into it she knew enough about Nakomis and Landon to know they were shifters. Not because they told her because any shifter was more attracted to another shifter. Just because they wanted to belong, not that they actually loved, or even liked each other. She had also talked enough to nakomis to know she had a rather large family. A very protective family. A very protectoive family wasnt always a smart thing to get involved in. They would do anything to keep one another alive. Even if it means killing someone, or dying. She herself knew enough about that from Justus. He was protective of her. Thats all anyone needed to know, oh, and that he was a tiger with an attitude.

"You and trouble always means someone getting hurt or dying Justus. Dont think i'm stupid!" She shouted down into the room, knowing it would carry easily. Laughing she shook her head and turned back to her work. Well, The Rocancourts were a family Victoria would rather become allies with, not enemies. Some with the Lucifer house. She persanally, didnt have any issues with them besides Kira. He had stabbed her when she got in the way that one time. But he had never laid a hand on her since. Actually, he seemed to try and keep the peace than disrupt it like before. A wife and kids always made even the most aggressive man calm down.

Pausing at that thought she smirked and shook her head as she leaned over to arrange a new pile of different papers. "Oh, not Justus....never Justus." She whispered to herself with a gentle laugh as she finally began putting the piled papers in seperate folders to keep track of them before she'd then put them in the file drawer in her desk.
