rolleyes.gif People say there "is no place" to eat in this county.

I beg to differ.

People are also easily enticed to drive 45 minutes for a microwaved-chain restaurant meal.

(Applebee's microwaves everything except for their steaks. Yes, the "grilled" chicken is even nuked.)

But won't support their own local industry?

This fasicinates me.

People want chain restaurants here, yet industry demographics do not support the need when they do not support the local hospitality industry.

---------------------------

Logans? O' Charley's? Outback? Red Lobster? All have bars.

Repeal legislation. Get more drunks on the highway. ninja.gif
-----------------------------

Cracker Barrell? Only builds near interstates and major highways.
Highway 52? Fat chance.

-----------------------------
So we are stuck with burger and chicken chains, in the meantime.
