you can gain points for your house in-character and out-of-character. this thread is to keep track of how points are gained, and make sure that the sidebar is up-to-date. please post in the following form. if awarded to a member, you may choose the house amongst your characters.

being caught skipping class/out of class without a proper excuse (-20)
being out past curfew (-50)

doing anything that would give you a detention (detention given and subtraction of points, points subtracted depending on deed done)
dueling in the hallways (or anywhere else without professor's knowledge) (-20)
