Does anybody have any suggestions for missions? We will try to incorporate them into the script as best possible. We will probably avoid using missions from the game. Keep in mind this game will take place in both the day and transition into night play.

Team 1 starts in the airball field with no entrance into the city but the other team is shooting at them they go into the big woods and copture a building with a "hostage" ref and take him back to the city, helicopter maybe? This must be in the day, night in the woods does not sount fun.

Okay people, lets get the ideas rolling. We wanna make this theme day one to remember. LOF has purchased over 1500 feet of rope lights (so far) and we plan on lighting up the entire city like Vegas! As Michael mentioned earlier, this theme day will start later in the day and run into the night so the city will 'shine'. Start planning to attend now and stay late! Later.

What about a Blackhawk Down Themeday style of game? Have 2 missions in the day time and 2 at night. Players are split into 3 teams, 2 of which are terrorist and 1 Rainbow. They would rotate the teams so everyone could play the mission. Also: Dad and I could be the head terrorists so that the games are similar and have a control for each team. Opinion?

How about sniping someone from a moving vehicle with a limited number of shots as the end to the day mission?

I had an Idea while the regular mission are being played out, bonus points could be gained with this.

Place colored keys (not team colors 4 - 6 keys) in the center of the city or field in plain sight, maybe on a post or tree. These keys open a macthing box located maybe center play on the air ball field or small woods. In the box is a sealed envelope containing the bonus points added or subtracted from the teams score. That's right in keeping with the gambling of Vegas you might spend all that effort to lose points.

Play:
One key at a time per player.
If a player is shot while holding a key on their person before using it to open a box it must be retunred to it's orginal position center field.
Keys can be held at team bases and not used at all to open the boxes, to keep the other side from getting a chance at points.
If the key is used and an envelope aquired it must be presented to the ref unopened, at the end of the game they will be opened to determine if points and how many, are added or subtracted from the teams score.

Maybe it would work

See ya in the red dot

I sent an email to Toby. Here is what it contained:

Toby,

Sorry about waiting this long to get back to you, it has been a hectic week of history homework, essay writing, two labs and their reports, and of course, the new Call of Duty smile.gif (Which will make one of the greatest themedays ever). Anyway on to some mission ideas. Well, the story for R6 Vegas is kinda spotty and isn't to cohesive. However, there were a couple of locales that were good enough for some missions. First of all, the overall story should be tweaked for a themeday. Here is what I propose:

A terrorist organization based in Mexico has obtained a couple of nukes and plan to destroy the Hoover Dam. However to do this, they try to draw attention away from the Dam plan and stage attacks across Las Vegas. Some missions are (may want to look up some locations on the internet to get what I mean):

1. Terrorists try to rob casino (daylight mission) for funds, make car getaway
2. Terrorists try to smuggle bombs in?

THE REST SHOULD BE AT NIGHT

3. Rescue scientists who have been taken hostage (specialists on the bomb) - could occur in a nondescript casino.
4. Freemont Street Assault - Assault Freemont Street which has been taken by terrorists to try and eliminate a terrorist communications site in a van. Freemont St. would be a sick setup, check out pictures at night.
5. Vertigo Spire - defuse a bomb placed at the top of the Vertigo Spire (3 story). This hotel/casino is themed off of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. In the game, it has a predominantly ice theme. Maybe light this buildings interior with blue lighting.
6. Hoover Dam - defeat terrorists in epic final battle and stop nuke countdown.

Of course add certain obstacles to prevent missions from going to fast.

Hope that helps, let me know what you think.

Michael

One of the more interesting diversions that you need to have someone with brassy ones to complete-

1 person dresses up in a lab coat and a briefcase, walks from the cityfield to the big woods base and back.

The NPC's briefcase contains a map showing where a bonus prop is held, but the map can only be obtained if the NPC is not shot out, the NPC will respawn after each mission until the map is finally obtained.

In order to get the NPC to give you the map, you must first capture him, this requires a person walking up and saying "I've found you at last!", then the player/squad needs to exfiltrate the VIP to thier base, whereupon he will open his briefcase and hand over the map.

The bonus prop *does not* need to be picked up in the same mission as the map's aquisition, but can be used for an equalizer if one is needed.
