I ask this because I have noticed that america, ok, well, whats portrayed on the news and in other media. It just seems that as crazy as we apparently are, we also are a sensitive nation when it comes to certain subjects.

Like this kid who dressed up like Hitler and the dude who dressed up like Osama for halloween. People got real testy and looked at it like a flatout disgusting act of tastelessness, but what about what we are exposed to on the daily? What of the content of our shows or of the reality Tv induced coma most of us get into? WHat about the on-going black vs white inuendo that still exists in the media...yes it does. How about the mockery of our inner city and urban youth and adults, who instead of helping, we mock and poke fun and just make it a comedy?

isnt that just as tasteless?
