Earth Rumble Five!?

[Toph]

"Welcome to Earth Rumble Five!" the large man shouted as he raised large chunks of earth up from the ground just for show. "I am your host, Chin fu!" The huge crowd started to cheer as their excitement grew. The audience seemed to get larger each year. "The rules are simple. Just knock the other guy out of the ring and you win!" he finished and took his place in an area far away from the arena.

Round one. Two extremely large men came out and each took their place on opposite sides of the arena. Chang versus Dong. More than a few unkind words were said as regard to their characters, before they started to fight. Chang started to raise large pieces of rock up from the ground and then he kicked them at the other man. Dong simply punched his fist right through each rock that came at them, the classic 'tough guy' act. Then, momentarily, he raised a large slab up from right in front of himself, with his hands, and he tossed it at Chang. The man hadn't been expecting it and so it knocked him right out of the arena, winning Dong the fight.

Toph leaned her back against the wall, hidden from the audience so that they didn't know who all the contestants were until it was their turn to fight. She crossed her arms and smirked. This competition would be easy. It was obvious to her that the men who were out there fighting, didn't wait and listen like she did. They listened to their muscles and that wouldn't get them very far when they were up against her.

Round two. Another large man appeared on the arena floor. This one was a lot fatter though and he seemed to be proud of his largeness. Huan versus Dong. The abnormally large man shoved his hands into the ground, pulling up large chunks of earth and tossing them at Dong in a continuous motion. Dong ducked below a few of them as he made his way towards Huan, while getting pelted by rocks on the way. The larger man was already grinning, believing he had won this. But as soon as Dong made it to Huan, he shot large spikes of rock right at him. Huan could do nothing but stumble over to the side in order to get out of the way. His balance had been thrown off and Dong was about to take advantage of that. With a large yell of victory, he raised a wall of earth up from the ground in front of him and he slid it towards Huan, pushing him straight off of the arena.

The crowd started cheering even louder. They were starting to favor this man already, but that was soon to change. It was time for Toph to show them what a good earthbender was made of. She cracked her knuckles as she walked out onto the arena. She could hear the screams of the crowd and they seemed to be dying down. Well of course, she was just a small girl, she couldn't do too much... they thought.

Round three. The Blind Bandit versus Dong. Immediately, her opponent slammed his foot into the ground as he started to walk closer towards her. She felt the vibrations and she could see exactly where he was. His movements. It was so obvious what he was about to do. She slid her foot across the rocky floor, over to the right. He had already raised a large piece of the arena up into the air and he was about to send it at her. As soon as it got to her, it smashed into the wall she had created just seconds before. Then she touched her right hand's finger tips together and shot her arm outward. Not a second later, Dong was being blasted out of the arena by a pillar that had jutted out of the ground right in front of him. Another grin spread wide across her face and she even started to laugh as they announced her next opponent, the champion.

"Now, the moment you've all been waiting for. The Blind Bandit versus your champion The Boulder!" the announcer had reappeared and was now introducing the current champion. The audience started to scream even louder than before, if that was even possible.

"Ready to fight?" she taunted the large man.

[The Boulder]

The huge man jumped up on the earth arena cracking the rock beneath him. He lifted his arms in the air and turned around in a circle. The crowd went wild, everyone around was yelling and cheering, holding signs and chanting. The reigning champion smiled and flexed a few times. He turned to face his opponent, he paused and made a confused face. "What is this tiny girl doing here, where is my real opponent" he said scratching his head a little.

[Toph]

"What is this tiny girl doing here, where is my real opponent"

"I am your opponent, The Pebble," the girl mocked him. She still wasn't in a fighting stance yet because she would wait until he started attacking. Toph took a deep breath in. But what for? She didn't know. It wasn't like this guy intimidated her in the least.

How long was he going to wait before fighting her? The crowd wouldn't stop screaming and she was getting annoyed. "Ladies first!" she taunted him again, hoping that he'd start the match now. She was ready. Ready to become the new champion. "Or... are you too scared?" she put her hand up to her mouth, pretending to make a shocked expression.

[The Boulder]

"Ok then, The Boulder doesn't think your ready for...THE TREMBLER" He yelled and started stamping his feet. The earth beneath him started to crack. He jumped and the whole arena shook, one large rock came up in front of him and he punched it toward the frail girl. He smiled and got into a defensive stance waiting to see what she would do.

[Jet]

“Twiggs” watched the first two rounds in silence at some point his face fixed into a scowl. Earth Rumble, it was a long shot he knew that before he got here. These guys were skilled, maybe the strongest benders he had ever seen, any of them would be an invaluable ally. all the good they were capable of all the lives they could save why did selfish people always seem to be powerful. “This was a waste of time .“ Jet said as he got up to leave.

Round three. The Blind Bandit versus Dong.

The crowd stopped cheering, Jet couldn’t help but glance back to see what had happened.
He watched the round from the isle.

[Toph]

She faced her palms to the ground and then raised them high up into the air. A wall of earth rose up in front of her and she stepped a few inches to the side, still behind the wall. With a small movement of her foot, she raised up a small section of earth right behind the man for him to possibly trip over if he backed up.

The rock crashed into the wall and it was obliterated, along with that half of the wall. Toph started to make chopping motions into the air with both of her hands, shooting out dagger like pieces of rock from the remaining half of the wall until there was no wall left.

[The Boulder]

The man watched as the wall in front of the small girl was transformed in what looked like hundreds of small rock daggers flew toward him. He wasn't sure what to do, he took a step backward and fell backwards over the section or earth Toph had raised. He was laying on the ground looking up watching the daggers whiz past his head some coming a little to close for comfort. When they were all gone he got up, he looked around surprised.Huh, that was pretty lucky he thought to him self. He smiled at the blind girl. "See you can't even touch me, The Boulder can see every move your gunna make" trying to pass off him falling as his plan all along. Once again he jumped, two large rock floated up in front of him and with both hands he punched them toward the small earthbander.

[Toph]

Toph stepped forward, planting her feet firmly into the ground. She shot her right arm outwards, and then her left, raising two sharp pillars from the ground. The two pillars appeared below each of the rocks and they extended upwards quickly until they made contact with the rocks. Breaking both of the rocks into two piles of small pebbles on the arena floor. The pillars themselves also broke from the impact, they remained jutting out from the arena but were half broken and falling apart.

The small girl stepped forward again, and with a small grin she moved her arm again. This time, a column of solid earth came up and out from the ground in front of The Boulder. It was angled in a way that it would hit him right in the stomach if it did hit him. The end of it was flat though, she didn't plan on killing the man.
