far out of her comfort zone. despite this she remains to be a spirited sort of
girl and very true to herself. she works as a manager for the hotel on the island
and is coming home on a red eye flight from a business meeting in new york where
the corporate office is located when the hurricane that she was hoping to beat
out hits. forced to bunker down for the night she meets dawson who she hits
it off with. unfortunately she learns rather quickly that he has a fiancee. but it
will not be the last she sees of him. as he is staying at the hotel she works for she
is bound to run into him again and the two develope a sort of high stress friendship,
but could it be leading to more?

born and raised in new york he was not always the most well behaved
son that a politically inclined woman could ask for. in fact he still kind
of tends to be rough and tumble just in a more refined sort of way. a true
"diamond in the rough" despite being a rebel he went on to become a lawyer
and is now inclined toward politics. he also happens to be the new york
fiancee of ainsley sawyer with no idea what is taking her so long to
tell her parents. having not heard from her he hops on a plane to surprise her
but is delayed from leaving the airport when the roads are shut down due to the
hurricane. when he does see her though he is the one surprised. when a few
truths come out he finds that perhaps he too might be trying to deny something
he just can't when it comes to leigh, who he met during the storm.
