We will have a new Graphics Idol, ultimately, every 3 months - depending on how everything flows and just 'works out'. The GIs would be individuals who have talent in producing graphics and, as implied, should be 'idolised'. The GI is determined partly by judges, but predominately by the pulbic (that is: HMF). A yearly GI, determined by the winners of the quarterly contests, may be awared if public interst is enough.

(Note: Those who won the last 3 GIs would not be able to participate as a contestants in the current GI, but may participate as judges. Indeed, winners of the past GIs would have first dibs in the judges positions.)

Judges will be determined as outlined in this thread.

Contestants will be decided by the judges by the applications from members. Applications can be submitted here.

Once contestants are decided, they will be asked to participate in 10 rounds, where their graphic skills will be challenged. Each round will have its own style, as suggested and chosen by the public (click here). The styles will be predetermined and fixed.

If, at anytime, a contestant or judge cannot participate (temporarily or permanately), they must contact me as soon as possible.
