So this is to be a topic about the greatest series (besides Gash Bell of course) to ever be made. Yes this shall be the One Piece thread!
And while I don't really mind. I'd rather us keep to the Japanese version and not that freakin' 4kids crap you see on Toonami. If you please. |

Agreed. 4kids ruined the series. Plus, Arabasta is running at the moment in the USA and I just freaging now they'll ruin that arc as well. I just hate it how they messed Usopp a lot! They turned him into a source of comic relief XD.
[spoiler]Plus, they ruined the elements to this anime...But we always have subs right? ADC Elites are currently subbing the latest arc, Enies Lobby, Gerusama did the previous arc before Enies Lobby, Water 7 and Kaizoku fansubs has subbed from ep 1 and is heading toward the end of the Skypiea arc which comes before both water 7 and Enies Lobby.[/spoiler] But yeah, gotta love One Piece. [spoiler]But now, lets discuss Ch 418 of the manga. So...Kaku gets owned and now, Luffy's really giving Lucci an @ss whooping. And Spandman is still an arsehole.[/spoiler] |

so let's keep the One Piece thread alive at least and show people how great the original can be compared to the dub. Because those who haven't seen the original are missing out. LOL I need to catch up with the manga... darn msn thing wanted me to sign up around 405. Pissed me off, but now I can read the chapters so I'll be catching up soon. We'll have to do a weekly chapter discussion now. |

Well,since I live in Canada and my mom won't buy any good japenese animes for me(She rather buy thoose boring perverted animes with only 26 episodes),I usually get those 4kids TV dubs. Well,I like the One piece episodes alone but since I haven't seen enough japenese versions of episodes of One Piece, I can't make a judge yet.
I only watched 5 episodes of One Piece in japenese and I can honestly say that the japenese is better then the dub(I haven't seen enough episodes to actually say it's horrible...at least the Zatch Bell Dub was ok) |

Off Topic: People find Kiyo's dub voice a little wierd when he shouts out the spells but I don't because I'm use to Kiyo's english voice =/ I've seen 35 episodes of dub and only 31 episodes of subbed |

The cover for volume 43 is made of total LOVE, BAD@SS, and WIN! Oh and Enel is named Eneru from Grand Adventure and I must say, I love his dubbed voice ^^ Instead of God, they use Sky Lord and Geditsu is changed to Geditz. Oh and Edward Newgate into Ward Newgate XD So far, seems no eps will be spliced in Arabasta. As for 425.. [spoiler]Lucci VS Luffy is still going on violently, Buster Call has burned all of Enies Lobby but the bridge and the Marine commanders confirm everyone but the Mugiwaras including Franky along with the escape ship are dead, but I dont think so XD Look at all the people Enel supposively killed and they're alive with their own ministory ^^[/spoiler] |

I don't mind the english voice myself... but the Japanese version can make a fan squeal if they know who's voicing who... such as Gash's Japanese VA also does Tony Tony Chopper's voice while Kiyomaro's does Ichigo from Bleach and Ted's VA is Naruto's. |
