Patrick slammed the door to his locker loudly, the sound echoing throughout the locker room and bouncing back to his ears. He sat down on the bench and roughly raked his fingers through his hair. He let out a heavy sigh and stared ahead at the row of lockers, not paying attention to the sound of feet approaching him.He kept his eyes straight ahead and didn't notice someone sitting on the bench next to him.

He didn't move until he could smell amethyst and violet. Her. He didn't have to turn around and catch her almond eyes to know that she had followed him into the locker room and was now sitting next to him. He knew it was stupid to think that if he just sat there and didn't say anything that she would just get up and leave. He had made that mistake before - underestimating her and he wasn't going to do it again. Sighing, he still stared straight ahead and said, "I really don't feel like talking Emily."
