Title: Make Up For Lost Time
Description: tag!Sydney
JAKE ROSSMORE - May 2, 2012 03:40 AM (GMT)
Jake has been knowing that this day was coming, and it was coming up fast. All year, since December at least, he had been working on Sydney. Getting her closer to him, getting her to trust him and really like him. He'd even gotten her to make out with him...a lot. He'd venture so far as to say that she was a little hooked on kissing him for a little while. He could tell there was a lot of tension between the two of them, he could feel it and he damn well knew that she could feel it as well. He had been preparing himself mentally for taking the next step and going into the final stage of his plan. And that was what he was getting himself ready for today. It was getting close to the deadline and he had to make sure that he got this done.
Yes, he was going to ask Sydney to the prom with him. It was a big deal, cause there were a lot of girls who wanted him to take them to the prom, but that wasn't happening. They weren't Sydney, Sydney was...special. Okay, that was weird to say, it wasn't like she was special special, she was special in the way that he had been focusing on her for the entire year and he was finally about to get her...whatever. It wasn't like he was in love or anything dumb like that. He just really wanted to sleep with her and he wanted it to be perfect. He waited outside of her last class, wanting to catch her as she gets out and walk her to her locker like he usually did.
SYDNEY VALMONT - May 2, 2012 03:49 AM (GMT)
It was true that Sydney's inhibitions with Jake had been lowered, but she couldn't help herself while around him. He was just so... irresistible that every time she saw him, she actually wanted to take what they had further, but she couldn't do that. No way was she going to lose her virginity because she couldn't keep her hands off of him. His body was built and she loved it. It didn't help that her weakness in him was his abs and how amazing they felt whenever she ventured a little further than normal and would touch them while they made out. She was almost addicted to him that she kind of wanted to know what she could do to stop herself from just throwing herself at him. They had been making out a lot more then usual, her pretty much throwing herself at him and both of them stopping before they got too far into it. It always made her sad.
When the bell rang signaling school was over, she collected her books and walked out with them pressed tightly to her chest. Spotting Jake, she gave him a big grin. "Hey," she tells him, walking with him to her locker, something they tended to do every single day now. It was nice hanging out with him in front of everyone. Many people had been telling her to be careful, but she actually trusted him to not push her too far. "Are we going to your house again today?" They usually hung out at his house, half doing homework and half making out. It was a nice routine she had with him.
JAKE ROSSMORE - May 2, 2012 04:06 AM (GMT)
Jake's heart was pounding...why the fuck was his heart pounding? God, his body was reacting so weird to what he was about to do...almost like he was nervous or he was genuinely excited that he was going to ask her to the prom. Fuck that shit. He was just excited that his last big game of his high school career was about to come to the home stretch. That was the only reason that he was reacting this way, the only reason that his hands were shaking a little bit as they are shoved in his pockets. He grinned widely at her when she came out of her classroom and gave him one of those huge smiles that just light up the god damn room, something that he would never admit out loud, not seriously.
He walked with her to her locker and leaned against it as she asked him if they were going to his place today. He love love loved it when they went to his place to hang out, cause they always set out to get homework done...which always took an extra few hours cause they would end up pushing the papers to the side and he would end up on top of her with her hands under his shirt. They never went far, but he could tell by the way that she kissed him that she wanted more...and making her want him was just what he was looking for. "Actually...I was thinking something different for today." He said with a grin. "We can go back to my place in a little bit but..first I want to take us out...to celebrate."
SYDNEY VALMONT - May 2, 2012 04:13 AM (GMT)
After Sydney had put her books away, she closed the locker, head tilted to the side as she wondered what it was that he was celebrating. She actually went through everything that they could be celebrating, but came up empty. There had been nothing major going on lately. But that really didn't stop her from thinking over everything that was coming up. Nothing even struck her fancy that precise. And she really wanted to go back to his place. Sydney had spent all of last class thinking of making out with him. It was a thing that she was going to keep to herself of course, because she was too embarrassed to mention that to him out loud.
The moment the door to her locker was closed, she looked up at him, meeting his eyes. "What are we celebrating?," she asks, shifting her bag up higher on her shoulder. "I mean...did I miss something that happened? Like...did we win a game that I wasn't aware of, Jake?" Yes, she was really confused, it was written all over her face. Her nose was scrunched up in thinking, trying to let her mind relax and maybe it would come to her.
JAKE ROSSMORE - May 2, 2012 04:24 AM (GMT)
Jake had been going over how he was going to ask her to the prom for the longest time. He had really thought about it for a few hours, fine tuning it all and wondering how she would react to him if he asked her a certain way. He knew that she was feeling a certain way about him, but for the most part they hadn't really talked about it. They both knew what there was between them, they didn't need to say it out loud. Him asking her to the prom would be a sign that there was possibly something more going on there...or that was the message that he was trying to pass off to her. Cause he didn't have any real feelings toward her at all. It was all a game, he reminded himself, just a means to an end. He was going to sleep with her, give her a night of amazing sex, and then it was going to be over.
Here it went, he was going to look at her with his best charming smile that always seemed to make her melt. Yup, there was the grin. Now, the words...now come the words. "We are celebrating," He said before pausing a few seconds to shift his position as he leaned against the locker. "Because I'm asking you to the prom...and you're about to agree to go with me." He said softly, biting his lower lip. He really fucking hoped she would say yes...like, really really really fucking hoped. As in, he had no clue what he was going to do with himself if she said now. But he had no real feelings toward her...no big deal.
SYDNEY VALMONT - May 2, 2012 04:34 AM (GMT)
Yep, the moment that grin happened, she stopped thinking and found herself grinning back up at him, always amazed at how he could just make her melt by looking at her like that. A part of her wondered if he did all these things on purpose, but that other part of her said it didn't matter if he did it on purpose or not, he was just a really gorgeous creature that was standing in front of her. And he could have any girl in this entire school, but he was focused on her and only her. It was a nice feeling since she knew many guys in this school didn't even lay eyes on her. She had typical girl moments when she was with Jake and she felt like she needed to watch her heart when around him otherwise she would become lost forever.
When the words of what he was asking her sank in, her mouth fell open a little, wondering if what she heard was actually really happening right now. "Prom? Us? ....prom?," she asks, befuddled. That was actually something that she hadn't thought he even wanted to go to so she hadn't gotten her hopes up for him to take her, let alone even ask her. Plenty of girls here wanted him to take them, she knew this, but for him to ask her and no one else made her feel...elated and happy. Oh so happy. "I...yes...sure...," Sydney wasn't sure how many ways she could say yes. She would love to speak another language fluently and say yes she would go with him, but she didn't want to do that to him.
JAKE ROSSMORE - May 2, 2012 04:57 AM (GMT)
Jake just continued to look at her as he saw her face, coming to the realization that yes, he just asked her to the prom. He had to say that he loved being a bit of a big deal in this school. Once again, he knew that there were a shit ton of girls in the school who wanted a piece of him for the prom...and he knew for a fact that with them he would get some ass that night. It was nice knowing just how wanted he was all of the time, which made it that much more amazing that he was feeling all that anxious to hear a response for her. If it was any other girl he wouldn't have even thought about it, cause he knew she would have said yes...but Sydney always managed to surprise him somehow, and this might have been one of those times.
But then she said it...she said that she was going to go to prom with him. He felt like dancing around and fist pumping and shouting out war cries like he did when he scored a touchdown, but he knew that he needed to play it cool. He was still Jake, he was still a BAMF, and he was going to act as such. "See? We're going to go out, grab some dinner to celebrate." He said, slipping his arms around her and hugging her close. "Then we can go back to my place....to celebrate." He said, grinning a little bit more, this time a bit of a wicked tilt to it.
SYDNEY VALMONT - May 2, 2012 05:04 AM (GMT)
When he hugged her, she actually hugged him back, laughing into his chest at the fact that she was actually going to go to prom with someone who actually wanted to go with her. It felt nice being wanted by someone who was a big deal in this entire school. She knew her father wouldn't approve of her going with Jake, but she could see her mother being more then happy to help her pick out a dress. And she would definitely have to make sure she didn't drive that credit card bill up. Her mom already did that with Phoenix enough times and Phoenix was only five. She could already figure out where she could go shopping for a nice, cheap dress that looked like a million bucks.
"I really don't think dinner would be fun," she tells him, not wanting to come off as needy when all she wanted to do was just grab him in the hallway right this second and kiss him. Sydney may be able to make out with him and let him touch her every so often, but she still couldn't tell him what she wanted without blushing or mumbling it. "I say we just go back to your place." That was the extent of what she could say to him.
JAKE ROSSMORE - May 2, 2012 12:24 PM (GMT)
Jake is rather proud of himself for how far they had come this year. When he first started on her she was barely willing to hug him back, now she was making out with him and actually hugging him in public. Damn he was good...he was really fucking good. He had to pat himself on the back, and he would do so if his arms weren't wrapped around the petite girl he was now going to be taking to the prom. Hell he half wanted to kiss her right now but...no, they weren't quite there yet. Actually, the probably would never get to that point, considering after prom she most likely wouldn't be speaking to him again. He had to remind himself not to make plans so damn far ahead because it was going to be over soon...it was definitely going to be over.
His eyebrows raised though when she nixed the dinner and just decided to go to his place. This girl could really surprise him sometimes, no one would have ever thought that she would skip dinner and just go home to jump his bones. Hell, he was almost taken aback because he was planning a dinner for them and she skipped his plans. Fuck it, if she wanted to go home and make out, he was fine with that. "Right to my place? Good..." He said softly, leaning in towards her. "More time to be alone with you. We can...discuss a few things..." He said softly, whispering into her ear.
SYDNEY VALMONT - May 2, 2012 05:44 PM (GMT)
A shiver went through Sydney as he whispered in her ear, wondering what it was that they could be discussing. So many thoughts ran through her head and despite it all she was actually anticipating what he wanted to discuss with her. Months ago, she would have been hesitant and blushing when he said something like that into her ear. It was almost sad to her that she was getting really excited over something that he could possibly be hinting at. All of these things inside of her woke up and she found herself actually feeling heated and wanting to do more then just make out with him and touch him. But she really didn't want to ruin the thing they had together.
"What....what is it we have to discuss?," she whispers, a little dazed at his words. Sometimes Sydney wondered if he said every thing like that to her if she would melt into the ground because that is what it seemed like to her. He could whisper anything into her ear and she would be putty in his hands. "Like.....prom stuff?" God she sounded pathetic whenever she spoke to him half the time. She was surprised that he dealt with her.
JAKE ROSSMORE - May 5, 2012 07:04 AM (GMT)
This was the fun part about chasing after a girl who really didn't have all that many experiences before him. It meant that pretty much everything that he did was new and amazing to her. He could whisper some things into her ear and be sure that she had never heard it before from anyone else. He knew that she was going to be weak in the knees cause...well, he was really fucking good. He already knew what she liked, and he was so in control of this situation, all he had to do was put a little bit of pressure on her and she was going to give it up...and it was going to be fucking magical when it happened.
"Honestly, sunshine...I don't care what we talk about. As long as those lips keep moving, I'm fine with whatever." He whispered into her ear, his teeth biting onto her earlobe and tugging lightly. He is sure that they are alone in the hallway, so he's fine with pressing her against the locker, pinning her there lightly with his own body. "We gonna get the hell out of here or what?" He asked, so close to just attacking her mouth right then and there, as much as he knew that he couldn't.
SYDNEY VALMONT - May 5, 2012 07:12 AM (GMT)
Sydney really hated the things he did to her. The things that he made her feel was almost enough to make her want to run away. That feeling had passed though the more comfortable she had gotten with him. It helped that he hadn't tried pushing her away or made her do things she didn't want to do. Amazingly enough, the rumors that had been going around about him weren't true. At least not with what she saw anyway and that is really all that mattered.
His mouth on her ear made her inhale sharply, teeth biting down on her plump lower lip. They had never done this sort of thing outside of his bedroom so it hit her harder with need then it normally did. Not that she would be telling him that. When his body pressed up against hers though, she looked up at him, nodding slowly at his question. She couldn't get the words out, couldn't say yes, but it was there. In her nod.
JAKE ROSSMORE - May 5, 2012 07:23 AM (GMT)
Jake glanced down at her, grinning wickedly at the look on her face, and the way that she just couldn't get a response out. He couldn't even say how much he enjoyed having that effect on her. It was just something that he could have a lot of fun with...like right now, he could so press his advantage and grab a make out session right in the middle of the hall way or at least cop a feel. But no, he just pulls away from her almost as quickly as he had been on top of her, walking down the hallway. He didn't pull her along or look backward to make sure that she was following him because he knew that she would be.
He continued to walk down he hall, slowing down just a little bit to make sure that she was keeping up with him. "I was hoping to do something at least a little special to celebrate the day." He said, knowing that the real fireworks weren't going to go off tonight, he wasn't going to let them just yet. "I figure that you can choose the music for the drive home if you like." He said with a grin, always being the one to choose the music when he was driving in his own car. He figured he could give an inch just this once, it would probably get her to open up to him just a little bit more.
SYDNEY VALMONT - May 6, 2012 03:51 AM (GMT)
Of course Sydney followed after him, even if she couldn't quite speak at that very second. It was almost like he was pulling her along after him, her being held by a simple string. Or she was under some random spell of his. If she was under some magical spell of his she really wouldn't be complaining. Jake was just...something else completely and she was glad that she had gotten to know him this year. Even if it was his Senior year and she was only a Sophomore, she really wished she could see him again. And kind of had a feeling that she would.
"Oh...well. I didn't think it was a big deal to forego dinner," she tells him, glancing his way. "We can do dinner if you want...." Sydney shrugged as she followed after him, not caring much about dinner. She wasn't hungry and even if she had been it probably would have disappeared the moment he had pushed himself against her. "Really? I don't know. I don't mind the music you play."
JAKE ROSSMORE - May 8, 2012 03:31 AM (GMT)
"No, its fine. I don't mind missing dinner as long as I'm spending my time with you." Jake told her, not sure why he had felt like he wanted to go to dinner with her so badly. The only reason that he really wanted to spend time with her was to get her more willing to sleep with him, if she didn't want to go out to dinner he sure as fuck wasn't going to push it...right. He could tell that look in her eye, it was one he hadn't expected to see when it was first there but he was well acquainted with it now. She wanted him...she wanted to do a lot of things to him and he can tell it just by the way that she was looking at him. It was like...lust, mixed with anxiousness, and just the tiniest bit of fear, that she was feeling something she had never felt before for him.
"You like my music? You wouldn't rather listen to...I dont know...what boy band pop stuff do people listen to today?" He asked with a laugh, realizing now that he didn't know much of her taste in music. It sort of slipped her mind while she was flinging herself at him, Maybe he could try and remember the songs they were listening to as they made out, but thats about it. "Come on, the faster we get to my car, the sooner we get to be alone."
