Umm...that's a description of the anime [per]version of Chitose, not the real Chitose. The real Chitose is not an anemic attention whore. She's a normal person who suddenly finds herself stuck in with a bunch of abnormal people (the other five Angel Team members). She's also a member of the Angel Team only. It's that sickly phony that Broccoli tries to pass off as Chitose that ends up in the Romper Room Squadron. |

Personally, I like both incarnations. However, I agree that downgrading her to a secondary character is unforgivable.
 From Wikipedia: The game version of Chitose is seen as a Yamato Nadeshiko i.e. the traditional Japanese epitome of the perfect woman. Beautiful, supportive and skilled in traditional Japanese arts (such as archery and tea ceremonies), she is far more popular among fans than her occasionally malicious-seeming anime counterpart. |
