Simple Review, but gets to the point.
Here is an increased explanation on the Hollows and Soul Reapers(Shinigami/Death Gods).
Hollows: These creatures are the souls of once living humans who have regret or ties to this world. After some time has passed they transform into hollows feeding off the souls of the dead, and sometimes the living. Yet not all hollows transform on their own will, some are created as such by other hollows.
Soul Reaper (Shinigmai/Death God): The Soul Reapers are essentially the guardians of the life-world and the protectors of their after-life world, Soul Society. Their job is to stop Hollows from devouring other souls by slaying them allowing all their sins in hollow form to be washed away. This enables the original soul to be reborn in soul society, or if unforgivable sins were committed in life, hell. The Soul Reaper also has a duty to other non-hollow soul's called Pulses. They are to perform Soul Burial's on them allowign them to pass ont o Soul Society.
I think the Quincy should be added to as the one Quincy does appear early on in the series.
Quincy: A nearly extinct race of people who pride themselves on destroying hollows. The skills of a Quincy rely on taking spirit particles from the air and using them as a weapon, mainly long range weaponry. This kind of weapon destroys hollows and does not allow them to go into an afterlife. As such, Soul Society ordered their destruction and thus the Quincy went into hiding.
Some more intro characters:
Uryuu Ishida: Self-proclaimed "Last Quincy" He is a classmate of Ichigo, Chad, Tatsuki, Orihime, and Rukia. He is at the top of the class and is a member of the sewing club and prides his work very much. He is Ichigo's arch-rival and "hates" Soul Reapers.
Kisuke Urahara: A seemingly simple man who walks around in Geta Sandals around his candy shop, who is really a peddler of merchandise from Soul Society. He seems to know more than he wishes anyone to know and has a loyal staff.

Yer. I know it is a bit simple. I wasn't going to write long reviews on the basics, but when I do other Bleach reviews I will make it longer. Thanks for the comments =D

My Review on Bleach:
Title: Bleach Episodes: 140+ Rating: 7.8/10 Review: I place this anime in my top 5 anime I have seen. The story is seperated into two arcs: The Soul Society Arc and the Hueco Mundo Arc. the story starts off with Kurosaki Ichigo, an average high school student who can see ghost. One day, he sees a woman who wore a black samurai outfit slay a giant monster that only he could see. That night, she crept into his room looking for a soul, she was shocked that Ichigo could see her. Her name was Kuchiki Rukia and she said that she was known as a Shinigami. Basically a soul reaper who goes to the real world to stop evil souls known as Hollow's from destroying the real world as well as performing soul burials. An ability where she uses her sword, or zanpaktou to bring souls to a world called Soul Society where they can continue their life after death. As she explained this, a hollow attack the Kurosaki resident searching for a powerful spirit power. Rukia tried to protect their family but was wounded severly. She told Ichigo to place her zanpaktou in him so that he could weild half of her power. Though, he ended up consuming all of her spirit power. Rukia could not return to Soul Society because her spirit power was still too low so she followed Ichigo trying to defeat hollows.
The Soul Society Arc starts with Rukia being imprisoned in soul society for giving her powers to a human and because of that, she was sentenced to be executed. This arc was by far one of the greatest epics in an anime I have seen and can really get you into it. Instead of a group of heroes trying to save the world, Ichigo's group were trying to save Rukia from being executed by going to foreign land. While in Soul Society, the group had to fight powerful shinigami's some who were a lot stronger than all of them. Ichigo had to later on, learn the second form of his zanpaktou if he wanted to save Rukia. A power called bankai which would make him as strong as the rest of the captains. What was good about this arc was that every zanpaktou was a part of the shinigami adn every realease was different from Byakuya's zenbon sakura to Renji's Zabimaru, we witnessed a large variety of different zanpatous which were also a part of the characters attitude. Byakuyas attack is a silent calm attack that looks honest and innocent, but is extremly deadly, and then another one like Aizen's blade that confuses those to see an illusion of something else, more like a dual personality.
The Hueco Mundo arc is basically where it either gets you more interested or start losing interest. The fact that the power of the group has increased tremendously in between those two parts is rather crude an tastless. The group soon learns abilities like walking in the sky, extreme speeds, and special blast that can blow a head off. Before in the SS arc, you either choose on strength or speed. Though Ichigo was not fast enough to defeat Byakuya before his bankai allowed him to be faster than him. Now in the HM arc, speed and power was everything, you needed both in high levels. The reason why was the line that Ichigo's hollow said. Both Hollows and Shinigami's have a limit of strength, but when you have one that is part Hollow and Part Shinigami, there power is infinite. This was extremly exaggerated as all the character suddenly learned how to walk in air, and Ichigo's bankai speed was still not fast enough to defeat the espadas. The story was also like from SS, but they were rescuing Inoue, though the story was more of Ichigo and his loyal team showing there new strengths and Inoue was rarely presented.
As for the character personal traits, some I do not agree with. We see Ichigo as the stubborn guy who rushes to a battle without thinking and cares about his family and friends. Then we have the stereotypical large breasted ditz in the group, meaning Inoue. Though there was seens of the past like Ichigo's mother's killer and Ichigo facing his childhood trouble of him killing his mother, but they never got into it. It was meerly a one episode thing that they never went deep into. ((I blame the new anime fans sleep.gif)) In order to get a very good personal trait, we must think if we would do what they did and thats where I go to Inoue. Before, she was rather annoying that she could really not do anything and how ditzy she acted, but during the HM arc, we see a more developed character. She shows us that she truely loves Ichigo but does not say fearing that the relationship between Ichigo and Rukia will be destroyed so she keeps herself shut and we see her affection when she healed Rukia and shocked at Ichigo's expression and also when she chose him as the last person to say good bye to before she left and almost kissing him ((he was unconcious, so he couldnt hear anything xP).
The dialogue is wonderful. Some lines are deep and can truely get into you. For example when Kaien told Rukia that when you die, you should not die alone, but instead, give your heart to another. There lines might have been more emotional if it were not for the lack of a well developed character.
Personally, I love this anime. It was different that most anime's I have seen and the characters you find wanting them to go one. I would have never though that I would think of Inoue as an awesome character XD. Who knows what will happen in the end of Bleach, and hopefull it wont drag on the story to much. I will continue watching bleach to the end and still stayone of the greatest anime's that have been created.
