Sorahi walked arond the village, looking around. He rubbed his forehead and broke into a smile. "Soyokaze Village....*heh*" He said. He continued walking and sat down, looking at the sky. "We all have the same sky, no matter where we are..." he said aloud.

"Welcome," came a voice, not standing too far away. An odd-looking flower creature approached the boy, a smile on its face. "Welcome to Soyokaze Village. Will you be staying here? Guests are always welcome!"

Looking around, Sorahi could see that by 'we', the creature ment it and fellow members of its own species, as well as other mushroom-looking things. Obviously, they weren't anything from his world.

Sorahi smiled and said, "A drink or two'll be nice." He walked over to the flower/mushroom digimon and said again, "Well, what are we waiting for! Let's go!" He then waited for a response.

The creature nodded. "Certainly," she said, leading the way to a wooden hut. Inside, there were a few other Floramon serving another guest; another human, at that. The human looked up and, surprised at Sorahi's sudden appearance, she exclaimed:

"Another kid!?"

She was older than the boy, by about four years. Her bright red hair hung down to her shoulders, two locks hanging in front of her ears. Her eyes were a blue-green color, and they blinked in shock at the site of him. So far, he was the youngest person she'd seen in the Digital World.

OOC: Since her disappearance would cause a plot hole, I'll be playing Ran unofficially 'til someone else claims her...

Sorahi smiled. "Hello." He said as he sat down on a chair. Once he had sat down, he nodded at her as acknowledgement. He turned to the digimon excorting him, and thanked them profusely.

He looked over to the red haired girl that was staring at him. He grinned and waved slightly at her. "May I know your name?"

"Ishige Ran. You are...?"

Ran spoke slowly, eying the boy. She'd never had to deal with the new kids; Kouji-kun and the others who were more experienced with this world (although she had a Spirit like theirs, they were still superior to her) had always handled that. But now they weren't with her, and so she'd have to take care of things on her own. She could do that.

But why is he so young...? she thought, marvelling the kid's age. He couldn't be any older than a third-grader. So why was he here? Even the youngest of their group was at least a year older than him. She'd never considered the possibility of little kids being involved in this. With a war and all, it's best for children not to be involved.

Meanwhile, the Floramon served the two bowls of a strange nectar soup, humming to themselves as they did so. They seemed to enjoy guests a lot.

Sorahi grinned at the Floramon and thanked it. "Thanks, it must be very nice." Them he turned to the girl and said, "The name's Seijin Sorahi. Sorry for replying you later." Then he went back to his soup and drank it slowly, but not before a kind smile towards her.

Ran nodded. She'd have to say something to this kid, other than just introduction. Her mind wandered back to when she had first stumbled into the Digital World, some of the things she'd discussed with the existing Chosen Children. "Did you...?" she began, but unsure how to continue, she had to stop and start over. "How did you get here?"

It was a standard question, and she found it suiting. The boy didn't show much excitement for where he was, so she didn't think he'd just arrived. Yet something told her he might have...

Sorahi looked up at her question. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, and said to Ran while looking into her eyes, "A laptop. I accesed a file name Digital Files, and I was sucked in. May I know yours, please?" Sorahi smiled at Ran.

A laptop...? Ran thought. But I thought you could only be brought here by Trailmon...

"Well, it's not important," Ran sad with a forced (but natural-looking) smile. It was unclear whether she was answering his question or her own. But she had an idea of what she was doing now, and moved on to the next question before he had chance to respond. "Then when did you get here? D'you even know where this is?"

"We all share the same sky, no matter where we are, and who we are. Where I am is not important to me. As long I'm out of that center." Sorahi smiled happily while looking at Ran. "When did I arrive, you asked? Let me see..." Sorahi sank into deep thought, but snapped out of it just about as fast as he went into it. He replied, "Ran-dono, I lost track of the days, since I went into the center. I'm sorry. But I can tell, I haven't spent a night here yet. I hope that answers your question." Sorahi diverted his eyes away from her, and directed them towards the village scenery.

This kid's weird... Not even a day here, and already he acts like he's at home. Just who is he?

"I see," Ran said, sipping her soup. It had a fruity taste that she didn't much like, but she was still weak from hunger. It wasn't long since she'd been found out cold by the Floramon. And though she didn't know exactly how much time had passed since the battle with Arkadimon, it felt like ages.

Deciding to change the subject, she asked, "So, what grade are you in?" This would show if he was really as young as she thought he was. After all, he could be older and just small for his age.

Sorahi tore his vivid green eyes from the view, and turned them towards Ran. "I'm not studying anymore. I was thrown to a center after being told that I had caused a student to slip into a coma. But I can tell you this, it wasn't me who did it. But I used to be in 3rd grade." He said, while smiling a happy smile that wasn't affected by his past.

"A coma!? What did you do!?" Ran asked, acting on impulse so that she forgot his words. His answer to his grade confirmed her suspicions, but she didn't care about that now. There was definitely something wrong with this kid.

The Floramon, surprised by Ran's suddenly outburst, jumped and, in a brief moment, dropped the soup bowls they had been carrying. Ashamed, Ran bent down to help clean up the mess, but her gaze was still locked on Sorahi's, waiting for him to respond.

Despite Ran's words, Sorahi was still smiling. He walked over to her, and began to help pick up the mess. "Don't say anything. It's partly my fault that they dropped the bowl." Sorahi didn't say anything until the cleaning was finished.

After cleaning, Sorahi looked at Ran, a smile etched onto his face. "I didn't do anything. It was Shoku who did it." He then looked at Ran, waiting for her response.
