Before you create your own character, you might want to look at existing characters that do not have players. While new characters are always appreciated, we'd prefer to have these claimed first. All these characters are part of the central plot, but those with an asterisk (*) by them have already been played before in this RP. Canon characters will only require a sample post sent to me by PM (if they are marked with an asterisk I will brief you on their development within the RP afterwards), but for originals you will need to PM me saying you're interested in the character, then I will brief you on their personality, relationships with other characters, etc. After that you may send a sample post and I will decide if you may play them or not.

Now, if none of these characters interest you, you may fill out a form for your own original Chosen Child/Digimon and post it within a new thread in this board. For these you don't need to wait for acceptance, though an admin or mod might reply to your post to point out something that needs to be fixed.

Original Chosen Child Form
Name: Your character's name. Preferrably in last-first format.
Age: Your character's age. Be realistic; they're Chosen Children, so no one can be over 18.
Grade: Remember: In Japan they start a year after Americans.
Gender: Whether your character is male or female.
Personality: Your character's personality.
Appearance: How your character looks.
History/Other: If there's anything specific about their past we need to know.

Original Digimon Form
Name: Your Digimon's species name, NOT nickname.
Gender: Your Digimon's gender, if they have one.
Level: Whether your Digimon is a Child, Adult, Perfect, Ultimate, etc.
Attribute: Either Virus, Vaccine, Data, or Variable.
Type: Your Digimon's type
Technique(s): Your Digimon's attacks.
Evolution(s): What other forms can your Digimon reach?
