Most FF games are decent. My favourite would be Final Fantasy VII.

Final Fantasy VI owns all. It has the most characters, longest (and quite interesting I might add) plot. Final boss Kefka wasn't insanely hard. The game had many secrets to find (like the chainsaw in Zozo), plus I liked the once per battle summons, or in other words, "Espers". I have about 500 other reasons why VI is better than mostly any other Final Fantasy.
