What CD or playlist is currently burning up the Top 40 chart you keep in your head?

So obviously I'm listening to a TON of David Cook stuff, but when I manage to tear myself away from the Cookie, I'm enjoying Jason Mraz's new album, Coldplay's new single, and I can't stop listening to "It's Me Bitches" by Swizz Beats, the song that Robert the popper danced to at the end of the first SYTYCD audition episode. It's SO catchy.

Also, I'm loving Your Vegas' album. Laura and I saw them open for Duran Duran in Atlanta and they are terrific. Very similar to The Killers, but there's also a little bit of influence from Coldplay and Muse in there.

ETA: I almost forgot - I'm IN LOVE with the Fall Out Boy cover of "Beat It."

The song that I'm having a resurgence of massive love for is "Jessie's Girl." It's always been a favorite but lately it seems to come on the radio everytime I get in my car and I always have to belt it out like a giant dork. Hee. I think the universe is preparing me Rick Springfield's return to General Hospital in a few weeks, as if I needed any more reason to be excited.

I have several of Katy Perry's songs, and I really like them. Although that "I Kissed a Girl" song has been so overplayed that I've started having violent urges every time I hear it.

And Annie, I sympathize. I live with a 15 year old, so it's all Miley and Jonas Brothers all the time, and goddamn it but I can't stop singing along. I cannot figure out what makes me love them.

I can't get enough of "So What" by Pink right now. Mostly it's because her video is freakin' hilarious and super self-deprecating. My favorite parts are 1) when she's rocking out while riding her lawn mower to the liquor store, and 2) wearing mad scientist garb and laughing maniacally whilst chainsawing a tree on her front lawn, much to her Dr. Phil-esque neighbor's chagrin. Hee!!!

Pink is badass. I think I like her so much because she's kind of the anti-pop star. Somebody you could have a really interesting, intelligent conversation with.
