Well, we got only a couple of hours of snow showers here. None of it stuck. sad.gif I shouldn't have even been excited because I knew if we got anything it would be coming after several hours of MORE EFFING RAIN, but I love the first snow of the year and the last few years, the first snow is often the only snow here. I hope that's not the case this year. *pouts*

Marile, I'm happy the snow didn't ruin your party! And, oh, how I covet that sun and 70 degree days. *plots move to Phoenix for the winter*

Anyway, I've been a remiss failbot but I wanted to thank all of y'all who gave me car advice! Believe me, it was very useful and appreciated. I'm going to wait until January to buy a car and I've gotten it narrowed down to about half a dozen models. Unless I don't like how it test drives, I think the winning car will be the 2009 four-door Toyota Yaris but we'll see. Whatever I end up getting, I'm looking forward to having a car that's not falling apart around me. biggrin2.gif

Hurray, I'm glad you figured out the car situation! And it sounds like you have it well in hand.

Also, moving to Phoenix in the winter is a very good idea indeed, but make sure you leave before the summer! 70 degrees in December is lovely, but 110 degrees in July...not so much. tongue.gif

Also, we need to compare schedules and figure out when I'm coming down to Richmond again (or you coming to DC)! Maybe we can get some other FTers in on this action too.
