Dick Button has basically become your cranky old grandfather who grouches about kids these days and wishes they'd get off his damn rink already.

Belbin and Agosto have withdrawn from the Grand Prix finals. It's a shame because I was really loving their routines this season. I hope they don't pull out of Nationals, although I think even if they do they'll get a buy to the Olympics.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Johnny Weir, Nobunari Oda, Evan Lysacek, Kim Yu-Na, Joanie Rochette, and Shen/Zhao do at the Grand Prix finals. My bb Tomas Verner didn't qualify because he crashed and burned at Skate America but he's the first alternate.

If anyone cares, the finals are Dec. 3-6 and NBC will probably be airing a lot of it.

Hee, ask and ye shall receive. Brian Joubert withdrew from the GPF due to injury (he sliced into one foot with the skate blade from his other foot OMG GAH), so my bb Tomas Verner will be skating after all. Hooray!

I wonder if I can use these mind powers to cause Plushy to fall at the Olympics. evillaugh.gif
