Taking place just after the first novel in the popular Twilight Series, Twilight, e.}t is left open for the players to pick and choose just how they want things to happen. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS [FAQ'S] in my time of being on many, many roleplaying boards, i've seen one too many people asking the same questions over and over. so i figured, to ease the questions of newbies and old players alike, i'd post this for people to see.
if your question just so happens to not be in here, let me know, i'm more than happy to help. concerning registering & users
Q: can i make my own character on this board? you know, an original?
A: yes, you can. originals and canons are both accepted without qualms.
Q: hi. i see you're allowing originals onto your board, and that's cool. but, i'm a little worried, because i have an original of my own in mind, but i'm afraid they might not fit into the plot or with any of the other characters. any opnions/ideas?
A: hey. while we encourage you to submit your original and give things a try, it's ultimately up to you. our plot was intentionally written to not focus around the main characters like in the actual books, thus leaving enough space for anyone to really mingle their way in and have fun.
Q: can i register with a screen name?
A: no. all name must be for the individual character only, no screen names, and no single users holding multiple characters.
Q: do i register in all caps, all lowercase, or capitalize each first letter of the name?
A: all lowercase, please and thank you.
Q: i'm not a fan of who they chose for a particular canon for the movies. do i have to use them for my look-like on here?
A: no, you do not. i try not to use photos of the group so this gives people the open ability to use whom they want however they choose.
Q: hey, question: the volturi really don't have last names, like aro and marcus. do i just register with their first name?
A: yes. unless a last name was discovered in the series or mentioned by stephenie meyer, just their single name will do.
concerning applications/applying
Q: i don't have all the time in the world, so can i just post a half-done application and slowly finish it?
A: no. that little box in your control panel is made for these kinds of instances, in which you should save your unfinished application in there, and work on it until you're done. unfinished applcations that are posted will be removed.
concerning the board/roleplaying
Q: what is the date of the board?
A: 2005.
Q: can i make other people's characters do certain things, like pick up something, or move, or make them speak in my posts?
A: no, for that would be called godmoding, which is never allowed. you may nudge people, shove them, and throw things at them, but never make them do anything against their will, unless given strict consent from the roleplayer.
