THE RULES

concerning registering/creating an account

- please register in all lowercase letter, first name, middle [optional], and last name.
- no registering with a name like vamplover24 or ithinkvampssparkle, please.
- make sure you have read all these rules prior to creating an account, or immediately afterwards. we all make mistakes and do things a little differently.
- there is to be an even ratio of girls/boys, just like there should be a fairly even ratio of humans/vampires/werewolves. humans should be a bit higher than the other two.
- you may register with as many characters as you wish, as long as you don't let them die.
- oh, and finally, do not, under any circumstance, post anywhere other than the q's and a's section OR the registration section until you've been accepted!


-concerning canon registration

- if you are going for a canon, please check the canon list before you create an account, just in case said canon was taken.
- please do not take a canon if you have not read any of the twilight series. i don't want people taking stephenie meyer's originals and turning them into people they're not. you may, however, take them if you've read the first novel.


concerning posting

- grammar is not expected to be dandidly perfect, but please try. caveman versions of writing is not appreciated.
- there is no posting minimum, but i'd like the board to have no one-liners. if you can RP, you can write more than one line.
- that being said, i'd really not like to see everyone giving out five paragraphs on the grainy appearance of the nearest object. mix it up; bring in some history flashbacks if you have to.
- the magical word 'respect' is one everyone likes to have. so please, be kind.
- character fights are highly expected, especially between bickering girls or two hot-headed vampires. just keep it in character, and don't take it personally.
- no controlling another person's character. that's theirs, and you have yours.
- character deaths/killings of any sort must be notified by an admin prior to the event. 3 days notice if requested.
- you may have a character get pregnant, provided you ask the admin for permission first. i'd like to not have everyone having kids all at once.
- mentioning above, if you're going to be in a topic that goes beyond PG-13, either notify an admin, or edit your opening post to warn people of the events inside said topic.
- if you have more than one character, please be careful on how you post. don't post about becky when you're under sam's user, and vise versa. posts like that will be removed from the board.
- the c-box is for fun, casual chats when you need to say something quickly, or make a comment about something without a topic. take care not to spam inside of it; no one likes spam, not even the icky canned meat.


concerning avatars/signatures

- all avatars have a max of being 100x100. no bigger.
- signatures can be done in any way, as long as it does not promote other boards, ads, or have too much cursing in it.
- same goes for stretching the page. please, don't.
