overall appearance: Quil is a bigger guy, built for football, but he's really just a big teddy bear. He has broad shoulders, a very defined jaw line and big brown eyes hidden under bushy eyebrows. Quil is almost always smiling, thin lips stretched to reveal his pearly whites. His nose is a little too big for the rest of his face, but flattened slightly, ears sticking out a little bit. He usually doesn't do much with his hair, letting the short shaggy mess just sit there.
overall personality: Quil is a sweetheart. He's very excitable and energetic, always willing to try something new. He's child-like, but not childish. He still sees the good in everything, finding pleasure in the simple things in life. He loves logic puzzles and is very smart, but doesn't really enjoy school all that much. He likes to be free to do what he wants and finds that school confines him and strangles his freedom slightly. He's very loyal to his friends and loves to hang out with them. He can get into funks - wanting to be alone, a little grouchy when the boys leave him out, but he's generally a happy optimistic person.

history: Quil was born in La Push fifteen years ago and is the only child of Gabe and Marie. His parents stayed together only a short time, the rumors about one of the Quileute men sleeping around getting to Marie. She was suspicious and jealous and when her husband began 'working long hours', she nearly drove him away with all of her questions and angry stares. Quil lives with his mother and grandmother and was raised by both women.

He met Jacob and Embry in elementary school and the boys clicked immediately. They did stir up their fair share of trouble but Quil knew he had found his best friends. The boys were still friends as high school started, but lately Quil's been finding himself spending more and more time alone as Embry and Jacob hang out together, abandoning him. Even Leah's in on it. Quil can't believe they'd rather hang out with Leah than with him. He's a little grumpy lately, but he'll soon get over it once he phases.

Quil kicked his locker angrily as he watched Jacob run off towards the swinging doors. Without him, again. Chasing after Embry. They were headed to Leah's truck, he was sure of it. Well, screw them. He didn't need them. He'd find someone else to hang out with. He stuffed his algebra book into his back pack and hoisted it over his shoulders before trudging down the hallway.

The boys had been acting strange. Leaving him out, saying it wasn't anything personal. Since when was spending extra time with Leah preferable to hanging out with him? He wasn't sure. But if that's how they wanted it, then fine. Looking up, he saw a familiar head of dark hair and smiled. "Seth, wait up."
