So far we have one issue of the Daily Prophet, the most beloved newspaper on the planet. xD We're not thinking of starting a school run newspaper [those things never work] so we're going to stick the original. But what we want you to do, oh lovely members of ours, is to help us out by submitting ficticious articles or classified ads for anything that relates to the wizarding world. Any length will do and best of all you can earn house points by doing so. Since this is an OOC activity the points will be given to the house of your choosing. Ravenclaw does need some love right now, heh. So when the mood strikes you might consider writing up something like...
    the latest fashions
    muggle music
    an editorial/opinion piece
    items for sale
    store sales/ads
    world news
    ficitcious contests
    etc.
There's no end to what we'd like to see from you. It can be entirely humour or ever so serious, and it just may kill some time while you're waiting for someone to reply to your post. As to what's happening in wizarding London, Voldemort hasn't come out of the shadows yet but everyone is aware of something lurking just out of sight. The Minister has not yet been assassinated and Aurors are still keeping tight watch on his home. The Ministry has begun to fall to pieces [simply because the government isn't competant enough, really] aaaand... That's it, really. Feel free to come up with random occurances, such as attacks in Hogsmeade, London, muggle neighbourhoods, etc.

As for the points, we'll hand out ten for every classified ad [stores, sales, wanted, etc.] and fifty points for articles that should be no less than 100 words in length. =] Have fun!

I just hopped back on to tell you guys how to submit your articles and then realised that the PM system isn't working, otherwise I would have said to send them to The Daily Prophet account. So when the system is fully functioning again we can do it that way. In the meantime it's absolutely fine to post your articles here, where they'll be taken and stored top-secret-fashion to avoid breaking the news before it's printed. =P

Nope. I haven't even seen anything on RPGD about it but Alice gave me a heads up and said it was only server 10 that wasn't working right. Figures.
