Murphy is a two year old old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He’s a friendly, happy boy who will make a wonderful pet. Murphy looks a little like a bear cub! A really good looking boy who needs a home after being rescued from the dog pound. As you can see he loves having his tummy tiggled which is lovely when he's all wet & muddy !

I'd just like to add that having had Murphy for 6 months and sadly having to return him to the Kennels after he had a bad fight with our 6 year old Boxer Luke (causing him to have 3 layers of stitching to his front leg and one in his face) that Murphy would be best homed as an only dog or possibly with one other female dog.
He was lovely with our female doberman Nika who is very placid but him and Luke who is a male didn't get on very well at all, Luke is playful and boisterous and likes to be boss.
Murphy is a really lovely dog who loves a cuddle once you've gained his trust, he responds well to routine and loves his walks, an experienced dog-handler is a MUST. Murphy loves watching telly with you in the evenings and is a bit of a fan of jumping on the bed and the sofa! His adorable face is hard to say no to and he will eat everything in his path and then some! Including his toys! He never chewed the furniture though and also never weed or pooed inside. He's got some basic training and will sit, give his paw and come when called but he has to get used to you first. I love Murphy very VERY much and was terribly sad to see him go :( my partner wasnt happy keeping him after what happened with Murphy and his dog though which i could understand. I really hope if Murphy is rehomed that it's to a caring and well experienced home. I'd really love to hear about him too if he is rehomed rach.87@hotmail.co.uk pictures would be lovely too, he really does deserve to be loved.

Murphy is doing fine , he just needs to find that special home.I watch this little dog with my foster children going for endless walks, playing and being such a good dog, that Im sure there must be a home for him.All he needs is love.........not a lot to ask for, but while he waits, my boys are doing a good job....
