yuck.gif don't bug me. It's actually quite nice here today. A whopping 6C and mostly sunny. I didn't even need mitts when I put the plant pots away and tidied up the yard for winter. And I had the loveliest flock of black-capped chickadees and some nuthatches keeping me company. After they chased the bluejay away from the feeders. Cheeky little beggars! lol

Wonder where they get *that* from?? * duh2.gif * can't imagine!

It was 70 here, today...at least. Should I put this in "WTF??!!", instead??
Still 63 degrees...which is a comfortable summer's day, or a perfect spring one.

Oh, wait...it's a perfect FALL day *duh*

Hope you're feeling better, Meg.

*rolling up another Alberta snowball to send Kristin's way. Just because I can*
It snowed again overnight and a bit this morning. Just a skiff but I'm still not thrilled about it. I'd like my Indian Summer now, please. It was just a touch over freezing when I was at Bear's football game on Saturday and there's none of this "sit inside where it's warm" like you can with hockey (another reason I'm a big hockey fan! lol) Nope, I was the scorekeeper with frozen fingers 'cause if I wore my gloves I couldn't hold the pen.

And there was more snow over night last night and then again this evening. About an inch or so was on the ground when I got up this morning. Not too bad, but it never did melt or anything nice like that. Then it started again as I was getting ready to head into Olds. On my way home it was snowing big, fluffy, white flakes by the bucket-ful. Bad enough to keep the lights on dim or the reflection off the snow in the air would blind you. Made the the roads slick, too, and I don't have the winter tires on yet. *sigh*

But the forecast was calling for 12 C and sunny for the final game of the season this Saturday. Yay! Maybe this football mum won't be a popsicle by half-time after all. lol
