Rules for advertising your Message Board and/or Website

1. Participate on the board – nothing is more disappointing than someone who joins a message board solely to advertise their own websites. It’s great that you have a website (even better if it’s well laid out), but it’s hurtful and rude to use other people’s websites just to try to get members and viewers.

2. Do not advertise x-rated websites – this means no porn. If you are caught advertising porn, or highly offensive (racist, or sexist) websites, you can and will be banned.

3. If you are going to advertise items for sale, make sure they are official items. If you are selling DVDs or VHS, make sure they are official copies, and not burnt copies. Trying to make money off of illegally burnt or recorded DVDs & VHS will not be tolerated.

4. If you have already made a thread about your website, do not make a new one. If there have been updates, just update your thread, it’s as simple as that.

5. If you’d like for your website to be advertised at the bottom of the message board (see the graphics below this topic) you need to contact the board administrator, Kogo Shuko, and ask about doing so. If she is willing to put up a graphic linking to your website, you must also have one leading back to Doggett House on your board. Kogo Shuko is more than happy to provide you with a button for your website, and can also make buttons for your website if you are unable to.

6. Keep this proper!!
