The sun was shining down on them. The warm air brushing lightly against their skin. Gabbi stopped in her tracks as she was losing Faith. She looked back to see Faith picking through her nap sac. Gabbi rolled her eyes slightly as she placed a hand on her hip. "Having fun looking through my stuff?"

Faith looked up like a little kid through her sister's purse. "Well since we are friends,"

Gabbi smiled as she walked back towards the girl. She still felt somewhat guilty to what had happened to Jyscal in the village. If it wasn't for her he wouldn't have taken all the damage to his body. The red head looked at the ground before looking back up at Faith. Kasumi and Faith seemed to have had such a great friendship. How hard it must have been for the two to not see each other, to have to pretend as if their friendship was non existent.

"Whoa..." Faith said with wide eyes as she pulled out a pair of dual pistols. She pretty much dropped the nap sac as she stared at the weapons. "Why don't you ever use these?" She asked looking at Gabbi.

Gabbi snatched the pistols from the girl's hands. "Because they are not as forgiving," she stated as she tossed them back into her nap sac. Placing the nap sac back on her back she started forward again.

"You are still thinking of him aren't you?" Faith asked as she walked beside Gabbi.

"Of who?"

"Jyscal," Faith sighed. "I do wish he had accompanied us,"

"Well, once he gets better..." Gabbi looked down at the rope burns around her rists. It still felt as if the ropes were still digging into her skin.

"Your rope burns seem to be getting better," Faith said trying to get onto another topic.

Gabbi said nothing and smiled.

It was time to start over again. Ninlil has been wandering for sometime already. Maybe it was the lifestyle that suited her best.

It was a bit relieving that the days were getting warmer. But her heart was still rather cold as if it was a perpetual winter in there. Even so, she was curious about the forest, who seemed to be almost alien for her eyes. Her homeland was mostly desert and as so she had learned to appreciate the vegetation around.

Her outfit was, however, pretty evident in such environment. She walked examining the trees' barks, herbs and birds around her. But in some moment she decided it was time to make a stop. She needed time to relax so she would appreciate the nature around her. She took off the veil which covered her face. and sat under a big oak with just a few leaves on it.

After a few minutes she found herself on the verge of falling asleep. Then she heard voices. There were people around. At first she regreted it. Her inner peace was broken: it was time to move again. She covered her face again and stood up.

Then she noticed a pair of young women, (Gabbi and Faith). The ones who were talking. She wanted to avoid them but she realized it was too late, they were too close and she was too cospicuous.

Gabbi put her hair in a pony as she pushed forward. "Well I agree. I do hope he joins us again," Gabbi said refering to Jyscal. As she raised her head and lowered her arms she noticed a woman a small distance infront of them. She seemed somewhat in a rush. The two girls stopped infront of the woman. "Hello," Gabbi said with a smile.

Faith stayed quiet but smiled. She was not one to talk if another person started a conversation. She never talked much with those who she didn't know too well. Faith pushed a few strands of hair that hung infront of her face to behind her ear.

Caught thought Ninlil. While fixing up her veil again.

Before saying anything she examined the girls faces. Both looked young, and rather innocent. But she didn't want to make a wrong judgement about them. She was expressionless, almost like a plastic doll. Only her eyes moved up and down and left to right.

Ninlil has never been too talkative but still she forced a smile and answered:

"Greetings. I was just passing by...but i think I lost my way out"

She was being honest. Indeed in that moment she realized she was kinda lost, as she had never been in the woods before.

"I hope you don't mind if i make you company until we're out of here"

She didn't want to share much information about herself, and as of now, Ninlil only saw Gabbi and Faith as the means to get out of there. But still she was a bit curious about what brought them to that place.

(OOC: hey Gabbi, feel free to write more if you feel like it, even to ask and dialogue, Ninlil isn't very talkative but i'll figure out something to meke her more interesting).

The poor woman. To be stuck in the woods, all alone... No one by her side. Gabbi had been in a situation similar in her past. She was to steal a jewel for JK Tech from a man's home. After snatching it, she had dashed for a river. She dove in and hopped out the other side into a forest. But it was dark. She was cold. She had no clue where she was going so she just stopped, curled up behind a rock and hoped that morning came soon.

Gabbi shook her head from the thought. "It's totally fine if you accompany us," she smiled. "Don't worry. We were supposed to be in France but someone got us lost," Gabbi said as she glanced over at Faith.

"What?" Faith replied. So with her teleportation she took a wrong turn. She didn't know Europe too well.

"Anyways," Gabbi started as she looked back at the woman. "I am Gabbi, and this is Faith,"

Ninlil was confused when for a few moments Gabbi was lost in her thoughts. But even so she tried to stay calm as if nothing was going on

Ninlil nodded, trying to feign genuine relief. But when Gabbi mentioned they were somewhere in France and lost, she realized they were foreigners as well. Not as good as she thought, specially when they just had a raw idea where were they. But Ninlil had no other choice but join them. Sometimes we need to live in society even if we don't like to, more so if we have a common goal Ninlil thought still calm and not showing any sign of being worried. She had been sad, andry and worried maybe too much times in her past, so, such small details had no visible effect in her mood.

"I'm glad to meet you both, young ladies. My name's Ninlil. Don't mind about me. I won't bother you". She even didn't bother to take her veil off her face. Ninlil didn't want to open herself to these strangers. She felt a bit uneasy traveling with people who seemed to be so different from the rest. She moved her hand inside her robe, to hold tightly a locket with the shape of a cherub, made in long lost places of old, while her other hand just checked the knife in her waist. Ninlil didn't want to be deceived by the innocence and beauty of those girls faces.

"Well it is very nice to meet you," Gabbi replied. As soon as they were all set Gabbi started forward again, Faith by her side. Looking beside her, Gabbi looked over at her.

Faith looked back at Gabbi. "So you are seriously going to go through with this?" The ninja asked.

"You mean going to break into DOATEC and figure out what I am exactly?" Gabbi responded. "If so... Then yes,"

Faith backed off and let Gabbi go ahead. She looked over at Ninlil. "So... Ninlil... That's a pretty name,"

Ninlil followed Gabbi and Faith.

She looked around while keeping the pace of the girls. She overheard the conversation. For some reason she didn't understand, DOATEC seemed to be a familair word for her. She tried to remember where did she hear or read about it but she was unable to do so.

Ninlil didn't mind about Gabbi's goals. Indeed she didn't want to be involved, but for she felt a bit identified with the redhead as Ninlil thought that, like herself, Gabbi was in a self discovery journey.

Her ramblings and thought were interrupted by Faith:

Ninlil forced an smile again, but even as much as she tried her words were cold and with no feeling "Is just a name, but thanks for the compliment, miss Faith" She didn't want to bore them with the story behind it. In any case Ninlil was a woman of few words. Now she wondered where were they heading.

Faith realized that Ninlil was not much of a talker. It seemed to be quite quiet as the minutes went by. Gabbi seemed a bit annoyed with her and Ninlil... Well...

Gabbi didn't mean to get angry with Faith. She knew that Faith was just trying to start a coversation. Gabbi felt bad for how she had reacted. She sighed lightly. It just angered her how... No... What DOATEC had done to Kasumi... And her. She ran her fingers through her hair that fell over her shoulders as a slight breeze carressed her face. Images of her vision flashed in her mind as she continued forward.

The water that surrounded her. The glass that caged her inside. The person she had seen through the water...

Gabbi narrowed her eyes. She couldn't wait to get there.

(OOC: Ok, i think it is time to say sorry if this' boring you, Gabbi. I know Ninlil is just a fictional character and i would do almost anything i want, with her, but is just that I want her to behave and react totally diffrent from my other chara here. If you want to be more pushy go ahead...if not i'm afraid she'll find a dead end, soon).

Ninlil enjoyed the silence, but not the uncomfortable silence at that moment. It felt tense and dense. She picked up a beautiful wildflower. She looked with attention at it. Light blue in the rim, yellow in the center, a sweet smeel coming from it. As she focused in the center she noticed a bee, trapped between the stamens, covered in pollen and unable to escape. Carefully she used her fingernails to free the poor insect.
It flew away, only to land in another flower.


Is duty that important to make you do things you would regret in the future...?What pushes you forward? Random events wouldn't be underestimated, and Ninlil knew that, but luck was something she didn't believe into. She thought about that while following Gabbi and Faith, in silence.

"Do you mind if we rest for a moment, Gabbi?" Faith asked as she sat on a large rock.

Gabbi shrugged her shoulders as she responded. "Sure," She sat next to Faith. "So Ninlil..." Gabbi tried to start up a conversation. She cleared her throat. "Where are you from?" she waited for an answer.

Faith was surprised that Gabbi had started a conversation.

Some people have asked that to Ninlil before. Both in her homeland and after she left Irak. Her mind wandered a little before answering to Gabbi. She had a flashback as she remembered that a few years ago, while traveling to an osais in the middle of the desert, a mercenary asked her the same question. Ninlil didn't answer him immediately, so he told her that he fought in the Dead or Alive tournament, organized by the all powerful DOATEC, and now was looking for the same oasis she was looking for, to fulfill a promise. DOATEC? is this just a coincidence?.

She saw no harm in answering the question: "I'm from a small village in the desert...in Iraq" She had no close relatives alive at that moment, also she was pretty sure she had no bounds tho her motherland anymore. "Living there was worse than being in hell, so I left my land behind me and i expect not to return". Ninlil wasn't very talkative, but everything in this life has a price, even an innocent answer.

"How about you, miss?"

Faith felt sorry for the woman. Although she didn't know much about Ninlil, she could see that she was alone. "I come from a village far in the distance," Faith said before looking at the ground.

Gabbi listened to the two talk but didn't say anything as she was focussing more on the noises in the distance. She lifted an eyebrow before looking back at the two. "I'll be right back," she stated as she got back to her feet. "You two stay put," Gabbi hopped over a log and then through some bushes from where she heard the noises. They weren't ordinary noises. Looking back she noticed that she was unable to see Ninlil or Faith.

As she pushed away some leaves she noticed a person a few meters away, their back towards Gabbi. She was familar. "Kasumi, what are you doing out here?" Gabbi said as she walked towards her.

The girl giggled.

Gabbi narrowed her eyes. "Kasumi?"

The girl spun around as she hissed.

Gabbi's eyes grew.

The girl leaped towards Gabbi, landing on top of her. Gabbi fell to her back. "You're not Kasumi,"

The girl placed a hand around Gabbi's neck. She lifted an eye brow and smiled. A giggle escaped her mouth.

"No, you're not," Gabbi quickly grabbed the girl's wrist and twisted it before flipping the girl off of her. Gabbi hopped to her feet.

The girl landed on her feet, looking back at Gabbi.

Gabbi started circling the girl, prepared for any sudden movements. Gabbi soon realized that the girl was dressed exactly like her. The black pants tucked into her boots. The black shirt. Even her hair was in a pony. "What are you?"

The girl smiled and closed her eyes. Then moments later opened them back up and repeated what Gabbi had said, "What are you?

Gabbi looked deeply into the girl's eyes. "Don't tell me, someone made one of me?" Gabbi shook her head slightly. "Well, that won't do," Gabbi dashed toward the girl as she ripped out her sais. She swiped at the girl but the girl flipped out of the way.

The girl counter attacked by landing and grabbing one of Gabbi's hands and twisting back behind her. She quickly added a knee to Gabbi's back to the attack.

Gabbi fell to her knees but quickly whipped her head back and made contact with the girl's.

The girl let go and stumbled backwards giggling.

Gabbi got to her feet. With still a sai in her hand she threw it at the girl's head.

The girl grabbed it before it made contact and then threw it back at Gabbi's stomach.

Gabbi backflipped, dodging the sai.

The girl raced towards Gabbi as she landed. The girl scissor kicked Gabbi and then punched Gabbi in the face.

Gabbi stumbled backwards.

The girl quickly grabbed a sai from the ground and smashed the handle across the back of Gabbi's head.

Gabbi fell to the ground, slipping into darkness.

"I'll be needing this," the girl said as she snatched Gabbi's nap sac. The girl slipped it over her shoulders and headed back to the girls.

"I see" Ninlil said, looking into Faith's eyes. Ninlil realized that neither Faith nor Gabbi were very talkative, and she was fine with that.

Ninlil nodded, but still she wondered why Gabbi was leaving. Her reasons were none of her business, she thought, but for some reason both Gabbi and Faith seemed to be good persons, so she kept thinking about a reason. At first she tought Gabbi needed to urinate. Nothing to be worried about. So, she relaxed a bit and sat on a fallen log, waiting for Gabbi's return. She examined the trees and watched the birds which were singing in the canopy.

After a few moments, she opened her bag and grabbed a couple of cookies, not even suspecting what was going on with Gabbi at that moment. She was unable to see or even hear her. She offered some cookies to Faith, as she removed the veil from her face:

"Do you want some?"

Maybe Ninlil didn't trust Faith nor Gabbi yet, but that was no excuse to be rude with them.

Faith smiled as she looked back up at Ninlil. She was so nice to have offered. "No thank you," she started. "We ate just a little while ago. But thank you," She soon saw Gabbi break from the bushes to the right of her. "Where did you go?"

Kos looked at Faith remembering her. "I just heard noises that is all," the clone said. "I saw a man. He worked for DOATEC and said that we are heading in the right direction."

"That's what the noise was?" Faith asked as she got to her feet.

"Yes," Kos looked over at Ninlil. "Are you ready?"
