You're Invited to DOA

Angerly rolling over David's blood shot eyes shot open. " I can no longer sleep, this will prove to be an interesting day for everyone.." David said aloud. Throwing the blanket off of himself, he sat up and looked for Melinda. Hhhm not here, check on her...David drew his legs up close to his body crossing his ankles, placing his plams directly on his knees closing his eyes Clearing the grogginess within himself he filled his mind with Melinda and focused in on finding her with his aura.

Like an invisible wave of water gushing out of Arekuruu, The aura wave filled the his bedroom, finding its cracks, windows, doors, and vents, flowing outside down the wall, entering the air and heating vents searching, rushing down the hallway anf finding the stairs and elevators. His aura slowly consumed the hotel attempting to find the one his mind is focusing on, Melinda.

The aura filled the training room as soon as it washed over Melinda's feet she felt his presence, his power. Looking back down the hallway she came she realized David was searching for her. She stood still for a second feeling his aura rush through her body, almost as if intoxicating her. David opened his eyes as Melinda eyes, seeing every bit of the training room as she does. looking around the room he searched for the targets that he told her to follow. In the corner Corrine stood looking as if she's been put in her place. Ryu stood next to her looking as if he was waiting for some answer. And to Arekuruu's surprise standing in the middle of the room was Draken, looking ready for a fight. " So we meet again my infamous obsticle!" the words pounded within Melinda's head.

Snaping his aura back within himself, Arekuruu smiled as his own sight returned the image of his hotel room became clearer around him. Rising out of the bed Arekuruu put on his boots and stood up looking at his handy work of the door. " I may need to work on my people skills....another time." Walking out of the hotel room he realized he may need to help Melinda out, but doubted that his presences was needed anytime soon. Perhaps some food may be in order, " they better serve steak for breakfast." Arekuruu thought to himself.


Melinda knew that she couldn't fight, though she would never fight, Arekuruu's aura. Taking a firmer stance Melinda closed her eyes. In an instant she felt as in a daze, her eyes open but not by her own will. She knew that her body was standing still but she felt like she was floating within her own mind. Her head glanced around but she didn't force it to do so. Arekuruu was peering through her eyes, she loved the feeling of his power taking over her body. Knowing that she was almost powerless to his will, to Melinda it was pure extacy. Then she realized what he was focusing her eyes on, Draken.

"So we meet again my infamous obsticle!" Arekuruu spoke within her mind.

The words felt like steel orbs bouncing within her skull. She dropped to her knees, she instantly stopped floating. Arekuruu snapped his aura out of her in an instant, leaving her too weak to stand. But only for an instant, she rose to her feet her strength anewed because Melinda knew that David aproved of her fighting Draken.
" Alright my favorite obsticle are you ready to be beaten? She reached down and undid her boots and with one fluid motion she kicked both boots off toward the wall behind her and landed on her hands and toes. Jumping back up she looked down at her belt. " As much as I could enjoy making you bleed, I will refrain." She demonicly chuckled. She grabbed two of her daggers in each hand and threw them into the wall behind Draken's head. "What did I scare you? Haha, I can't help myself sometimes; I'm only delightfully evil when I want to be! HA HA!" Melinda seemed to be pysching herself of into a small frenzy. Facing Draken she smiled rose a single arm level with her eye and flipped her palm up and motioned Draken to "Bring it".

"Hmmm?" Correne said more to herself as she felt some strange warm feeling overcome the area. Her mind was blank and speechless within itself as she stared at Melinda. The woman had a different visage about her. Melinda looked to Correne with a look she didn't appreciate, a look of satisfaction and complete egotistical over confidence. Not that that isn't the kind of attitude Melinda has, but this is too extreme of an emotion for her. . .

Correne wasn't sure of what was going on, but she stood speechless, not even a stammer escaping from her frozen lips. I need to fight that David. Perhaps it is better that Draken picked up this match, now I have an excuse to fight David.

Correne watched as Melinda rose from her knees with her inner strength renewed. Correne resisted the warming feeling that had consumed the room. Her isolation and mulitple minds would ward away any to try to pry in her. Though, for now she could tell that no one was exactly trying. Correne got chills until the sensation was withdrawn from its source.

"That was interesting. . . " Correne mumbled to herself, completely ignoring Ryu's concern, his concern for her only annoyed her.

Seeing that Correne remained silent and more focused on the events between Draken and Melinda, Ryu took the hint she didn’t want anything, but before he could slip away and get his drink he felt an odd tingle crawl down the spine of his back. The feeling seemed to spawn from the other side of the room ironically or not in the direction of Melinda it momentarily stopped him in his tracks. Just as fast as the feeling had came it left again. ‘Strange’ he thought to himself but for the moment he dismissed the uncomforting feeling as it seemed that no one else was bothered about it. He then slipped away out the door to get his beverage.

Not moving from his position Draken recognized the feeling that consumed the area. ‘Aura manipulation’ he had thought but was unsure of the intended usage. At once he sensed all the aura pull back and accumulate into one spot, it surrounded Melinda’s being. Only having a small knowledge in the usage of aura his ideas to what was going on was very vague… though one thing spun around in his head ‘Arekuruu, what are you up to?’

The aura left the room and Melinda had seemingly stumbled a bit. After recovering herself, she sent two sets of daggers past Draken’s head.

“Daggers are the least of my concern… now then if we could get on with the match.”

She motioned him to start the match. Draken started out with a simple move to get started as he ran forward and threw a few quick punches and a kick towards her side.
