<<OOC just in case anyone has wondered here is my makeshift pronunciation key for her name (Core-een Rozen-ay)>>

Location: On a Plane bound for Antarctica
Weather: Mostly clear and sunny, with mild clouds
Terrain: mild air turbulence
Time: 6:00 am

Correne lazily rubbed her eyes, wiping away the granules of the sand of sleep away. This was the most exciting thing for her ever. Antarctica was a wonderous place for her. Everything sparkled and was so serene. She typed and e-mail to her friend at home.
"I am just now on the plane, I miss you guys soo much! I have won several fights, won't Dad be proud of me? I'm on my way to a DOA meet in Antarctica, they have a registration base there, and I'm needed there for final registration. The fights I won were just elimination, and I'm still not sure if I'm in or not. I'm told once here, I'll get my invitation if I make it. Although, I'm a little confused because Antarctica seems like such a remote place for such a thing. Tell Dad not to worry! If he wonders, I'm also fine on funds too, they provide free travel fare for participants. See you guys soon, Love Correne."

Correne squealed with delight as she shut her laptop. She took a deep cleansing breath, and sighed dreamily looking out the window. This is the first time she's ever flown before too! The flight didn't bother her in the least, perhaps it was the hilly terrain of her hometown. The flight was going rather smoothly, so she decided to draw. She took out a picture of a woman and began to draw it onto a piece of computer paper using free hand enlargment. She even copied the signature of her friend at the bottom.

She looked dreamily again out the window watching the pastel rainbow of light that was flying by. Things never seemed so perfect, she thought, reaching for her hand pencil sharpener that was kept close in her black bag beside her.

Correne bumped her gun. It was loaded, but the safety on. She gasped as she looked around, to be sure that no one heard the click it made. She then looked to the writing on the drawing. Both reminded her of the darker nature of the world and the darker nature that resides within herself.

The gun represents the darker nature of the world, and how untrusting one had to be of it. The signature, perfectly forged reminded her of something she'd had to do before. The memory haunted her. It delved deeply into the chasms and caverns of her mind.

Two years ago, her mother was accused of murder. She was 17, she was still a little upset with her mother over her parent's separation, but could not let her mother be condemned for something that she had to do. Her mother pleaded self-defense and accidental murder, but this man's family had a really good lawyer and detective on their side. He was an abusive man, and Correne was there she saw it, but being so young they brushed off her witness account, and claimed she lied simply because it was her mother. Her mother had no other witnesses, well, except for one other.

It was the old man across the street, he was walking out to get his mail from his mailbox and saw the whole thing, calling the police. Correne's mother sent a request for his written witness account. The man died that night of his long-diagnosed cancer leaving a half-written account. The two women were this man's closest relatives, and thus were first let in his house to go through his worldly possessions. Correne walked in and took the application from the table without her mother seeing using the latex cleaning gloves they had brought to tidy up with, she craftily took the envelope, several stamps, the application, and the exact pen he was using.

Correne slaved that night to finish it and get it into the mail, exactly copying everything. She knew she had to get it in before the mail went otherwise they'd wonder how he mailed it after he died. She snuck out lying about taking a walk to mail it. Her heart pounded all of the way, and it felt so wrong, but the satisfaction and the perfection of the plan even amazed herself. She didn't care if she was caught, just so her mother was safe, but she knew that if she was caught, her mother probably was too, but it didn't matter now it couldn't hurt her mother anymore.

Correne even replaced the pen, and all extra mailing materials and gingerly laid them upon the desk, returning home with the weight of the world on her shoulders.

A small bit of turbulence awoke her from this nightmare as she looked around alertly, shutting her bookbag with a frightened look, had someone saw the glint of her gun? She was proud in an extremely guilty way about this memory. It had worked perfectly, because there she was, on her way to DOA 5.

Correne scanned the room, the thought just occurred to her, that on this very plane there could be other potentially dangerous DOA competitors. She surveyed, the room seeing no one that looked too difficult to take on, although not meaning that there wasn't competition.

A noisy and annoying metal click had awoke Redmond from his slumber. He had awoke to find nothing of interest but mostly old business men and a dim cabin in the plane. He was a passenger along a flight to Antarctica. The air was a stale peanut smell and he had never been more bored in his life. He wasn't to displeased from waking up due to that fact that he had been having horrible nightmare's for the past few weeks. He examined the cabin again to see if there was anything of interest but having been seated more towards the front couldn't see much towards the front due to the backs of seats.

He had put his earphones back in and listened to the "Symphony in X Major" by Xzibit. He enjoyed the beat to the song and the lyrics were in sync perfect with the beat. He looked out the window and started to daydream about the mystery he was flying towards. He had enjoyed the thought of learning the secrets about this supposed organization. He had known that this would be his biggest accomplishment yet, and would surely test his ability as a detective to attempt to solve it.

Solving problems was something that made Redmond feel good about himself. As if he tried to prove that he was intelligent or useful in someway. He had done many things that he was proud of. He had solved one case where a young girl had been abducted from her home one evening after coming home from a late night at work. Luckily he had recovered the girl safe because the suspect had left footprints at the scene. It was not the footprints that made the solving of the case significant though this did help. What was most important is the fact that the suspects boots had left small dusty trails of clay like mud that is normally found 10 feet below the ground. Knowing this all Redmond had to do was compile people who would most likely have this rare clay on their shoes.

After an evening of thought it had finally hit him that there was a construction site about 3 blocks from where the suspect was abducted. Redmond figured he should go there for more information. After talking with the foreman and finding out which workers were off work at what time on what day, he complied a list of suspects. As luck would have it 2 of the construction workers boot prints had matched the clay AND the print found at the scene. After he had taken appropriate and accurate foot measurements he had matched the foot up with a suspect. After testing the construction site soil and the clay on his boots and he had a match he had the man convicted and was issued a warrant to search his home.

After he had entered the home he searched around and heard a soft groaning that had came from a small closet in the back room of his 1 story ranch home. He opened it up to find the suspect tied up and the suspect had a black eyes and severe rope burns on her wrists and ankles. The suspect was convicted and arrested. This was the best case that Redmond had solved to date. It gave him a sense of pride when he had seen the girl reunited with her family.

He tried to keep from falling asleep again in fear of falling into another nightmare. In his nightmares' he couldn't control anything or do anything about the situation he may have been involved in. It had not even been a rational fear like spiders or heights. He had tried to get away from this black figure in his dreams, and he wasn't even sure what it was. It would just follow him and it was more like a twilight dream.

He looked out the window and daydreamed as the plane had flown off across the Arctic terrain and closer to the truth behind DOA Tech, as well as Donovan, and closer to the gloom that waited ahead.

Correne saw a man jump up in his seat a row or two ahead. She flinched upon seeing him look side to side, he heard it. By his boggled look, however, Correne could tell he wasn't exactly sure of what it was. On a second thought, seeing the side view of his face as he looked around he didn't look any older than her.

Correne couldn't help it she found him kind of cute, and wondered why one such as he would be traveling to Antarctica. most of the people on here are scientists or nature buffs She wondered. . . but this boy was different. He looked well-equiped for a long stay but surely no unusual equipment.

It made her wonder, but it didnt' matter. She scanned the mountainous terrain that sat below as it whizzed by. Something caught her eye. They had just passed the airport they were supposed to land at. Something wasn't right. Correne gasped as she hurriedly stuffed ther things in her backpack, but taking care that her gun was on top, but this time with no suspicious click.

She calmly walked to the front, feigning looking for the restroom. Correne thought that this could be part of a landing proceedure due to mountainous terrain, but it was unlikely as they didn't even slow to circle back. She wanted to see if the crew was panicked at all.

The flight attendants seemed worried, they paced up the isles repetitively. It was obvious now that this was a hijacking. But why? Could this be a way to dispose of some DOA competitiors? This base is awfully remotely located. . . could it be another combatant? Correne thought, unsure of what to do. She knew that they wouldn't tell her if that was the case, she was only a college student, what could she do? She did have a gun permit, but like they'd let her do as needed. She didnt' even know if she'd have the courage to do what had to be done if it came down to it? She wondered if there were others in on this conspiracy amongst the other passengers on the plane, or anyone else willing to back her up.

Redmond had nervously fidgeted in his seat. He was half asleep and hadn't noticed too much of his surroundings since take off. He had felt slightly guilty due to that being a key thing for a detective is being alert and attentive. The plane jerked uneasily to the side and Redmond had waited for the pilot to come on and explain what the problem was. There was silence.

A young blond woman had risen from her seat in the rough turbulence. She had been carrying a bag with her and to him look really suspicious. Not many people would have gingerly stood up during this sort of shock to the plane like she had. A sucker for cute blond woman as he was, he still had a duty to investigate. He had no need to have gathered his supplies due to that fact that he always carried all of his items in a tactical fanny pack. The only thing he had equipped at the time to his outer thigh was his custom made 9mm. Being a detective it was safe for him to have carried almost any weapon out in public without speculation.

The other passengers looked nervous as Redmond rose from his seat slowly to approach the blond woman. Each passenger had looked at each other in confusion as a quiet chatter rose about the cabin. He slowly and quietly approached her with his weapon still being kept away. The last thing he had wanted was violence. Especially since it was with a woman so attractive. He had shook these thoughts from his head. A few possibilities had gone through his mind. What would he have done if she really is a threat? Is there a possibility that she was also an ally? Maybe she was a combatant in the tourny? Ever since he had started as a detective he had gathered so much experience that he could have raised a million different possibilities, and in the end have them narrowed down to one. He remained calm and reached out to the woman in front of him and spoke softly.

"Excuse me"

"Hmm? Ummm, yes?" Correne replied rather shyly.

She blushed. She wondered if he was going to approach her about the possibility of her bearing firearms. She noted the gun on his leg and it sparked her interest. So this man could be of use to her. Yet, she had to be cautious also, as he may not be an ally. She had to strain her neck to look up at him, he was significantly taller. It kinda annoyed her, her short stature and all, but in an attempt to make herself feel better she called it 'petite' and looked at the perks of being hard to keep hold of and being better at sneaking.

He also wore a fanny pack which caused her to wonder even more, becuase last she checked wearing it as fashion died long ago. But then she thought that she recognized him, because in that case long ago they had a young detective working for the oppositon, the kid was used because it appeared he didn't even side with the side he was forced to represent. She quickly banished such speculation from herself and looked up to him, while she tried to control her heartrate so as not to arise anymore suspicion as the rest of the passengers stared.

Correne turned towards the back of the plane, taking a step forward, provoking him to follow, they couldn't have a random convo about the suspected hijacking now could they? The last thing she wanted was to arise a panic in the masses, and she felt that this man also understood, as he seemed rather intellectual himself.

Ryu sat there nearly towards the back of the plane peacefully sleeping. It was a wonder no one questioned him beeing that he didn’t look at all prepared for the freezing temperatures of the Antarctic, as he only wore a sleeveless shirt and a scarf to keep warm in. He as well carried a bag that he had what he considered the essentials a sleeping bag, first aid kit, and food for a few days worth. Normally someone like that would stick out but his presence seemed to go by unnoticed. But while entering the plane they did try to give him a hassle about his sword, that he always carried by his side, but beings he was not about to leave it in the hands of strangers he made a convincing argument to keep it on his person.

This sword he carries, a Katana to be specific, was forged by his trainer and master Draken. The only person he had lived with in his childhood as his parent’s lives had been taking at an early age. He was rejected by the rest of the town’s people for reasons unknown and forced to go live in the wilderness. Eventually meeting Draken who would take him under his own and train him and teach him of the world. Draken promised Ryu when he had mastered the sword, that he would forge him a one of his choice. Now he carries the sword with great respects and never leaves it when he goes anywhere.

With his main teachings complete he went to compete for his first tournament. Without a great challenge he had past the preliminary stages but knew it would only get harder from that point on. Now on this trip he’s heading to the next destination “Antarctica”.

On this trip, Ryu had probably been asleep for a good part of it being there was really nothing to do. He always loved the winter now he was going to a place where snow laid all year round. He dreamed of the wondrous landscapes that awaited him but was soon awakened by a clicking noise. Quickly pinpointing where the sound came from he looked and saw a young lady sitting there she seemed a bit nervous about the noise she made. Not very surprised she hadn’t noticed him as she looked right past him as he continued to stare for a few seconds, like most people they didn’t seem to notice his presence it was something he was accustomed to though. Thinking of it he realized what the sound was made from, but staring at her, he came to the conclusion that there was no need to worry about it and went back to his sleep.

A short while later he was again awakened but what seemed to be some air turbulence. He wondered what caused it as he sat there. He looked around and seen some of the flight attendants had seemed fairly worried as they paced back and forth. He managed to get one’s attention and ask what was going on but all they said was some bad turbulence was taking place. He could tell by fear of her voice it was more then that but knew nothing he said would get her to talk.
What was this? The young lady he seen earlier was up and walking about. Was she the cause but he quickly put the thought to the back of his mind as he still believed she wasn’t suspicious. But by chance could she happen to know what was going on. From the expression on her face it seemed not, he calmly continued to watch as someone caught her attention and shortly after she motioned the man to the back of the plane. Being on the lookout, he took note of the gun that the man had in his possession.

As the lady walked passed even though he wasn’t quite sure she knew anything, his curiosity got the best of him as he started to stand and said “Excuse me, do you know what is happening? I noticed the flight attendants seemed quite worried but wouldn’t speak.”

QUOTE
Excuse me, do you know what is happening? I noticed the flight attendants seemed quite worried but wouldn’t speak

"What do you mean? I was looking for the restroom." Correne gave the most genuine look of confusion and innocence. Correne took note carefully watching his facial expression to see if he bought it, the last thing she wanted was to drag innocent people into this.

"But I wouldn't know why they are in such a panic, but I would bet that they are nervous because I see that they have a new employee, she must have made a mistake and they have to cover up for it. It happens all the time especially in restaurants." Correne said, as she did honestly observe a new employee flight attendant being trained, but this employee was more than competent and seemed to do everything right.

Correne had noticed that he was sleeping earlier and wouldn't have noticed the falseness of her statement. He probabaly thought that she had overlooked him just because he appeared to be sleeping, truth be told she took special note as she does the same thing. She too feigns sleep to avoid unnessecary social interaction and undesired attention. Correne never looks directly into the eyes of someone she is indifferent with, making eye contact with her is either a privellege, of a curse. She does so only to intimidate enemies or to read other people. This may contribute to his idea that she didn't notice him.

Correne felt another shift, most likely caused by an ameteur plane pilot. These must not be very experienced hijackers. . . she thought to herself, making a slight comment in her head to herself jokingly how she could pilot a plane better and how she's so bad at it it would spontaneously combust at her very touch.

Knowing she couldn't just rush to the 'bathroom' after some unexpected turbluence she tried to cover. She knew time was wasting and every centimeter the plane traveled off course, the closer the hijackers were to getting what they want, and to be sure what they wanted would not be what the passengers wanted.

It was coming down to a do or die situation. Correne nervously stuffed her hands in her pockets and fidgeted with what was in there, only a nice mechanical pencil in the right. Thinking about how well it could work, yet how stupid it would look if she didn't do it right, Correne enacted her 5 second act. She pricked her finger with her pencil with a small wince she turned into a sneeze, covering her nose with her left hand drawing both men's attention to it, as she brought up her right with the newly inflicted puncture wound and smeared some blood on her fingers and below her nose as she appeared to wipe it away, in reality placing it there.

"Ahh. . . my nose is bleeding. . ." Correne said rather disdainfully. "Umm now I really have to find the bathroom, I'm sorry." Correne finished walking towards the back, wondering if the other man, the one that had confronted her first would follow.

Slightly ignoring what she said about looking for the bathroom and continuing on with what she said of the employee problem. “No even a new employee wouldn’t cause this much of problem, I shortly talked to one of the flight attendants and could easily sense the pure fear in her voice as she tried to convince me it was only turbulence.”, Ryu had spoke keeping his calm expression despite what she said. He was trained this way after all and couldn’t let a little confusion get the better of him to just sit back down.

Thinking to himself “Yes their was a new employee, I noticed that when the trip began…”

“But I did notice her, she seemed to have everything under control and what she lacked in the others easily made up for so I don’t think that’s the cause. Just saying, but I wasn’t asleep the entire trip.”

Ryu wasn’t used to planes and the sudden shift slightly surprised him. He still kept a calm face but his initial reaction caused him to grip his sword for a second but quickly released it. He had realized it was only the plane as he watched her actions. That and it kind of caused him to go into a sensitive state as if in battle he started to keenly watched every movement made.

He noticed she had stuffed her hands in her pocket. But she sneezed and brought her left hand up. But beings that Ryu at the moment happened to be watching in detail to everything he instantly took his eye off the left hand and seen her right hand pulled out, a drip of blood fell to the floor. Then she wiped her hand across her nose as if wiping it to reveal a nosebleed.

Unsure of what to think for the moment he watched her start to trail off supposedly looking for the bathroom to check her ‘nosebleed’.

Then a thought came to mind, the gun she carried he remembered she had one on hand, so in a second attempt to see what she knew or thought he called her back quickly and not wanting to worry the other passengers quietly asked her about it.

Then he waited to see what her next action would be.

Having followed her to the back of the plane Redmond was cautious as this this womans intentions. Since he had been a detective he knew not to let faces fool him. He had wondered maybe if she was interested in what was going on. She did stand up during the confusion, and it seemed to him like she wanted him to follow her to the back.

The seating area of the plane was unsettlingly quiet and the other passengers seemed concerned about the current situation as the area went up in shallow whispers and confusion.

Out of the corner of his eye Redmond had spotted a white male wearing sunglasses. He had a bald head except around his ears, and a short stubby nose. He had no facial hair. He looked like he could be in his 40's. The man was wearing a pair of black leather gloves and had seen Redmond look in his direction. He motioned for Redmond to come closer.

The man was 2 seats behind where the blond woman was so he moved around her and to the man. The man motioned for him to lean in. Redmond cautiously leaned down to see the man was holding a small brown envelope in his lap. He now had a hand gun in his right hand. He motioned his left hand for silence and his right hand with the pistol to open the envelop.

Inside was a crumpled note that Redmond took out slowly and read to himself. "There are two in the cockpit. Don't say anything or make any attempt to reach it. If you do I will kill these passengers". Signaling Redmond to return the letter, the man looked up at Redmond who had now risen and signaled with his hands to stay silent. "If youll excuse me, my sisters nose is bleeding." Redmond had made up a fib that this woman was related to him. With the color of their hair he believed he could pull it off. As luck would have it the man must have bought it as he quietly put his fingers to his head in the shape of a gun, and imitated a trigger being pulled, quickly followed by a finger to his mouth for silence.

Redmond turned back to the blond woman with a grim look on his face. What was he to do now? Should he tell this woman what he had just seen? Should he remain silent and hope for the best out of fear of a passenger being killed?

<<OCC Ryu, making your chara a little to perfect maybe? It's ok, but it seems like he doesn't make any mistakes at all. BIC>>

Correne had turned just in time to see the hand signals of this strange man to the one that had approached her first. She could tell nothing good would come out of it.

The man had a look of contemplation on his face. She could tell he was fighting a battle with himself. She softened her look. She was a tad peeved at this second man's challenging her story. She could tell that his statements were nothing more than tests to see her reaction to prove the falseness of them.

Correne was quite sure he didn't know anything for sure, but he was trying to get her to slip up. Correne never was a flawless being, but today she executed rather well, and she knew her skill with words well. Perhaps the story of the flight attendant was a stretch, but she knew it would suffice. She did realize her sloppiness with that and she could have thought of better, but given they were on a hijacked plane who could think straight? It seems her speech skills had failed her for once. She was slightly disappointed, but it was no big deal it was an easy misconception.

Another drop of blood dripped from her nose. She sighed exasperated with this man, she did notice his katana and wanted to get away. He seemed like a nice person and all, but Correne knew never to trust someone with a weapon. However, she pretended not to notice, no matter how obvious his motion to unsheathe it was.

Correne started a brisk walk back to the restroom holding her nose and keeping her head down. The second man called out to her for something, but she ignored it because she needed to think, and clean herself up. Correne even hammed it up by letting ballons of blood splash on the floor, 'accidentally' as she went and breathing slightly heavy to complete the crimson illusion.

Correne left the door of the small 'bathroom' if what they had could be called so. She began to wash herself off. She angrily flicked water from her hand as she clumsily wiped away the blood into the sink. She threw her bloodied paper towels away and put heavy pressure on her finger to stop the bleeding. She got out some sanitizer in a small cabinet and sanitized everything, as she didn't want to leave a trace of her blood. She then regretted being so clumsy in her blood-flinging fury. She even sanitized her pencil and cleaned off the skin that lingered.

She heard footsteps coming hither, she tilted her head back and held a paper towel to her nose at the sink. Holding on to the sink with her left hand and the pressure she applied to her nose she put most of it on her bleeding finger to cause it to stop as well.

She looked to the door and waited patiently, as she unbuckled her bookbag, so she had easy access to it if needed.

Redmond politely knocked 3 times quietly but no answer. He then knocked harder. He felt slightly embarrassed to knock on someone who was using a restroom. He looked back at the accomplice to the obvious hijacking. He saw that the man was faced forward and sitting straight up fully alert. He knocked a few more times. He had heard shuffling before he even knocked the first time so he knew she was inside. He then had to think about what he was going to say to her. With 3 dangerous men just about confirmed and 2 in the cockpit, he needed to make a decision on what he was going to do when she finally emerged from the bathroom.

Correne sighed, she had the door slightly ajar, but she appreciated his courtesy. This started her off in a pleasant manner with him as she held politeness and respect for others in high regard.
She gathered her composure.

"It's ok, I'm just cleaning my face." she sighed closing her eyes, she reached over and tugged on the door so it hung open.

"I've been meaning to speak with you." She said looking into the mirror. Brushing away a few strands of her golden thread from her face.

"I see you have a gun there, do you have a permit?" she looked sideways in a slightly disapproving manner. She acted as if the prospect of openly wielding firearms was apalling. (sp?) She smirked slightly. For some reason she felt no reason for alert around him, he definitely didn't appear as if he was going to try to kill her, he could have simply used a silencer and just snuck aroud the corner. It was doubtful that the hijackers would care, I'm sure as hell that if he'd wanted to kill me he wouldn't have knocked. . .

Redmond gave a quick look around and gave her what seemed like a slightly rude nudge into the latrine.

QUOTE
"I've been meaning to speak with you."

"I have also been meaning to speak with you as well. There seems to be something going on with this plane. Heh, No kidding right?"

"That one man, the one you witnessed give hand signals had me read a note, according to it there are 2 people in the cockpit that have taken control of the plane. Im assuming hes an accomplice".

This was a small restroom and he felt very embarrassed and shy being so close to her. He managed to keep himself proper although his face was slightly red. He wanted to hide his embarrassment by making a "mile high club joke" but refrained. If theres one thing that Redmond loved, it was a good joke. He had a good sense of humor and kind find comedy in lots of situations.

QUOTE
"I see you have a gun there, do you have a permit?"

"Yes, im a detective you see. Im allowed to use and carry most weapons. Well, as long as I have the proper documents, which I do. What about you?" He points to her slightly open bag.

QUOTE
No kidding right

"Yeah, I know. . . " Correne figured it was quite futile to resist or pretend like she didn't know. Perhaps it wasn't all that smooth to just get up in mid-flight. She kicked herself for it, but yet, some good did come out of it, as she'd found someone else who understood something was going down.

"I'd guess so. But what is it that they're after?" Correne asked feeling rather defenseless and weak, not being able to do anything. She moved her head to the side, she bumped into him trying to turn sideways and blushed. She was nervous being in such close proximity with him, not exactly uncomfortable, but she felt rather awkward, as their bodies were slightly pressed together when the door was shut so they could speak privately.

QUOTE

"Detective? You're awfully young. . . aren't you?" Correne said, raising her head along with her rising intonation, as an image of old popped in her head, the case of her mother. Sheer guilt blanketed her face, she tried passing it off as fear of the hijacking, in truth, some of that was mingled in as well.

"What are you talking about, this?" She pulled out her gun, and flicked off the safety. "Do you really need to see documentation?" she examined it as it flashed in the bright and uncomfortable flourescent lights. She lowered it and flicked the safety back on.

"Yours first." she said, implying his gun permit, or whatever. As silence insued she looked about him, looking for somewhere he'd hide more weapons so he didn't try anything funny.

"Im really not sure. Ill tell you one thing tho. We NEED to get this thing on the ground before anyone gets injured. Im sure you know there's only one way to do that."

QUOTE

O, and I suppose I am young for that. I dunno, Im just good at figuring stuff out I suppose? I dont think I'm anything special really. heh" He gave a nervous laugh. He didnt think she would have bought his story. Who would? He is really young and usually detectives take years of work to reach anything of power.

QUOTE
"Yours first."

Redmond reached in pocket and pulled out a leather wallet. He quickly flipped it open and then shut. All that could be seen was a small flash of the badge. He was simply just teasing her. Feeling that she might get annoyed at his joking in such a dire situation he opened the badge up and showed her. It was a bright gold colored badged that had engraved "Detective Police" on the front with an insignia in the center of a fox. Just then, the jet jerked to the right and knocked Redmond onto her and felt her small form beneath him. Redmond's face turned fairly red. "Im soo sorry!"
