You're Invited to DOA

"You waste your last breathes arguing. Soon all your lives will be over," Toradachi said, charging towards Rebekah. A shinobi stepped before ninjato raised to impale her. On the balls of her heels, she spun around the shinobi, stabbing him through the back and dashing off as his body fell to the ground all while not once breaking her flow of movement.

"We must capture with as little injuries as possible. Reframe from killing her at all costs!" commanded the shinobi who lead the group. The mugen tenshin shinobi swarmed around Toradachi with weapons drawn.

Despite being clearly outnumbered, the woman continued her charge, side stepping, slashing, stabbing, cutting or otherwise evading and/or killing everyone of the shinobi that attacked her.

"What kind of monster is this woman? To dispatch some of most skilled warriors without any trouble... Miss, for your safety, I suggest you retreat to somewhere safe. We will find once we have captured her and we shall thoroughly interigate her," the shinobi said, drawing his own weapon and stepping forward.

"Running is futile. Fighting is futile. Everyone will die for my master has ordered it," Toradachi said as continued to cut through the wall of shinobi, slowly making her way to Rebekah.

Inuji thought long and hard. Rubbing his forehead to ease the headache the entire past events had built up, he sighed deeply and said. "In order for us all to gather at one central point it must be somewhere that the other groups would head. As much as I hate to back track, it seems are our best chances is back at their village. Nezumi I know you will oppose this the most, but hands are relatively tied right now. We can't afford the chance of loosing anyone else."

Though Nezumi didn't seem at all glad to hear Inuji's decision, he didn't seem in the mood to argue as he nodded his head in agreement.

Ushimaru appeared on the scene just as Doragon was retreating. "Where's Hebichi?" He asked the monk.

"He stayed behind to allow us to escape, but I suggest you turn ba-" Doragon began was cut off by the large man.

"He's pretty clever and fast, but he's frail compared to me. We've always worked as a team and I would never forgive myself if anything were to happen to him," the man said.

"I understand, but you should put faith in him and think of what he wants you to do," the monk said, placing a gentle hand on the man's trunk like arm.

"I am. He would want me at his side. Go! Everyone's waiting for you," the man said, grabbing Doragon by the shoulder with a grip tight enough make him feel like his shoulder blade would shatter. "If you try to stop me, I'll break every bone in your body."

"As you wish, but please promise you'll return. You are a part of our family," Doragon said, reluctantly.

"Words are meaningless if you can't back them up, but we will return," Ushimaru said, gently pushing the monk along with enough force to send him brawling forward trying to regain his balance. The man hurried forward, running at his full speed, putting anyone who was in his way at risk for he was never known to be able to slow down once he picked up speed until exhausted or colliding into something stronger than him.

Rebekah looked as the shinobi fell. It made no sense for her to lose so many lives to get a single one.

"I won't retreat and i should be the one to interrogate her" said Rebekah grabbing a screwdriver and adjusting something in the magazine of her gun.

"Your master must be really stupid" said Rebekah trying to taunt Toradachi she had no idea if that would work but she behaved in that way. Rebekah dashed and placed herself in an empty space one of the fallen shinobi occupied a moment ago, just behind Toradachi. Rebekah grabbed Toradachi's right arm and pointed her gun at the latter's head.

"It's over now. Surrender and tell me where's Hanako! or..."


(OOC: let's see what happens now. I expect Toradachi to offer some resistance) judging from what she has done so far).

"So be it" said the shinobi in charge of the party. "We'll lead and protect you back to our village"

The party was on the move again but this time back to the mugen tenshin village. Anastasiya and Ryuuken thought that Inuji made the right decision, they just wished there were no more troubles in the way ahead.

Mariko looked back a bit worried about what could be retaining Doragon. She watched and waited for him while he talked to Ushimaru.

As Ushimaru ran pushing Doragon aside Mairko asked something to him:

"Where's he going? why is he heading where the cat eared woman was? and why your other companion hasn't returned?"

Maybe it wasn't Mariko's business and maybe she should have stayed quiet however she was still a young girl and curious by nature.

She still wondered why was that dog so important for those over human beings but she also thought that some answers couldn't be answered.

"If you think you can taunt me with such petty insults, I'm truly ashamed. The act before was nothing more than my best attempt to reinact my subject though it seems my information was a particularly off. I will end your life here!" Toradachi said. Suddenly she made gurgling scream as she fell to the ground. Behind her, holding Lili's tazer in her shaking hands, was Aiko. "You are going to tell where she is!"

"It's too late. She has already expired," Toradachi said. "Soon shall the rest of the X-series, including my master. Before the Y-series can awaken, I must eliminate her enemies!"

The tazer fell to the ground. "Again? She's gone again...?" Aiko burried her tear streaked face into the palms of her hands. "How many times do I have to watch my family die!?!"

"It is their fate. You cannot chane it. Each time they develop the rage, they must be cured. The only cure for the rage is death. Unfortunately for you, you won't be around to watch the Y series be awakened, A-series experimental human number 0, code named Aiko. You normality is the only reason you have lived till now and that is now null and void," Toradachi said stepping over the woman with swords poised to decapitate her.

(ooc: Rebekah better act quickly if she wants to learn the answers to about the fifty questsions this entire post has created. BTW, don't count Hanako out yet... ;p)

Without warning, Nezumi doubled over coughing.

"Are you okay?" Inuji asked stopping beside the boy.

"I, I'm okay..." Nezumi said, whipping away the blood that he coughed up. "For now..."

"How long?" the man asked.

"Hours, maybe days at the best. It'll happen soon. Hebichi Ushimaru are lucky ones, they'll probably go in battle," the boy said.

"Does Doragon know?"

"No... Hanako made me promise to not tell him. It's better if he was left in the dark like before. Maybe it'll happen to him in his sleep like the last time. He always never suffered from it. Then again, he's not like the rest of us."

"We better let not them worry about us. If you go before me, I'll have no means to explain what's happening."

"Right," the boy stood up and began to walk again.

"I really hoped to have lived for a couple more years..." Inuji said to himself as fell in suit behind the boy.

"He's backing up Hebichi. They are capable fighters that always looked out for one another so they should be able to end this fight without too much trouble..." the monk said as his sentence lingered within his mind unsaid (... that is if she can be defeated. They've never been known to back off from a fight once they get too into it.) "We better hurry. I feel as though something ill is befalling the others." The monk rushed through the forest, using his memory to the best in order to return to where he left the party.

Rebekah was about to shot when Aiko made her appearance. She pulled back a little and heard what both Aiko and Toradachi had to say. She was a bit confused as she had no idea what were they talking about. However she had a bad feeling that Hanako wasn't all right.

As Toradachi got ready to decapitate Aiko, her swords fell from her hands. Someone shot at them and made Toradachi drop them to the floor. Rebekah knew it was her chance she leapt towards Toradachi bringing her down. They struggled specially that Rebekah knew that it was a dangerous move and that her life was at risk.

The ninja, anastasiya and Ryuuken were puzzled when they heard Nezumi cough out of nowehere.

"What's wrong? Nezumi, you---?" asked Anastasiya her words stopped when she saw the blood. She feared the worst.

No one present but Inuji and Nezumi understood what were they talking about.

As soon as they were on the move again the ninja leader asked: "I see the path is getting dark ahead of you two, but even under those circumstances there's always hope" (OOC: sorry i know it's quite corny and ridiculous, but my brain is dry)

"Hai" said Mariko nodding. As it happened to the others she had no idea what was Doragon talking about. She just hurried following Doragon's advice.
