okay, we realize that you may not want to read all the subplots
so we're not going to force you. you don't have to, it's your own
choice. to make reading the subplots easier for you, we have
opened this thread called the directory so that you may pick
subplots to read based on the title, characters involved and a
brief synopsis on them. links included for your convenience.
if you're having a hard time picking a character, the subplots
are a great place to look besides the wanted ad board. there's
tons of premade drama and premade friendships and rivalries
already made for you. so take a gander, you may just find your
future character!

During war time, who do you trust? How do you know that the person married to you isn't on the other side of the war and is just using you for their own needs? The Ministry of Magic is infiltrated, it is no longer to be trusted and for this reason Albus Dumbledore formed the Order of the Phoenix. But now it seems the Order is not leak proof either as three missions have gone sour. Of course though, the Death Eaters are not safe from this leaks and spies either as they too have a traitor in the midst. Loyalty is questionable and just who can you trust? You answer that question, my friend and you will have solved a great question that keeps a lot of people awake at nights. Severus Snape is a Death Eater but he's a man of many secrets. A lot of Death Eaters would go Crucio on his ass if they knew that he was a half-blood and Avada Kervada if they learned he was in love with a Mudblood called Lily Evans. Thankfully for Snape, when he is found writing a letter to Lily he is not killed or even tortured by Estelle Avery, Jasper Mulciber and Asher Runcorn. Nope, instead they use the letter as blackmail so they can use Snape to rise in the ranks of the Death Eaters but Snape won't stand for this for long. Too bad they forced him to take the Unbreakable Vow so he couldn't kill them. Now just how is Severus Snape going to see that the engaged couple of Estelle Avery and Asher Runcorn and their greatest friend Jasper Mulciber end up six feet under? When is there a story just of happiness? Such a thing clearly does not exist. Well, it could but it wouldn't be interesting really. What's interesting is this little story. Ludo Bagman grew up with a girl called Maddison Wilkes. They were the best of friends and went through everything together. Time passed and finally, after graduating from Hogwarts they decided to go out. But sadly, not everyone was happy that the two had finally saw what was right in front of one another. Nope, Miss Elisha Abercromie had to rain on the happy moment. You see, Elisha loved Ludo since their days in Hogwarts and she wanted him. So she plotted and got him to come to a party alone. They began snogging and enter Elisha. She sees them and is not too happy. A few shots later, enter Amycus Carrow the player. He was looking to score and saw the drunken Maddison. The next morning, Maddison wakes up in bed with Amycus. Uh-oh. And then later that day, Ludo's all begging Maddison for forgiveness. Of course, he doesn't know that Maddison shacked up with Amycus and she's too guilty to make a big deal over him and Elisha. While Maddison's trying to forget the horror of sleeping with a Death Eater, Elisha finds out about Maddison's little adventure. Can we say black mail? The Hob Goblins came into fame after years together and once they got signed by manager and radio station jockey Hannibal Simmons, the names of Stubby Boardman, Grace Hawthorne, Matt Schmidt and Amy Walker became known in every magical household. Fame was something new to the Hob Goblins and they quickly were taken for a ride. Grace Hawthorne is now known as a slut - she'll sleep with anyone, especially the rich or the famous. Stubby Board - girls want to be on him, guys wanna be him and he does get those girls. Amy Walker, well she's taken to drugs. Only Matt Schmidt stayed the same and then he fell in love with a groupie called Savannah Grant. Soon after that, he was kicked out of the band, replaced with a guy called Tre Richards and then the band started to sue Matt for leaving. Oh, and on top of that, Amy keeps sending graphic letters to Matt to mess with Savannah's head. Now Savannah wants to kill the skank and now Grace has an Auror for a bodyguard. Pleasant, eh? ALASTOR MOODY AND EVAN ROSIER.
Alastor Moody wasn't always drinking from a hip flask, he wasn't always out to get every Death Eater behind bars, he wasn't always grouchy and he never said 'constant vigilance' until recently. Evan Rosier wasn't always filled with homicidal thoughts, he wasn't always interested in the Dark Arts, he wasn't always out to cause the world pain - oh wait, he was. Once upon a time, Evan Rosier was just a new Death Eater and the other Death Eaters told him he had to teach that new Auror Moody a lesson. So he did. He murdered Moody's fiancée right in front of the guy. Since the death of his one true love, Alastor's changed and will not rest until Rosier's dead. Trouble is, that was eight years ago and the race is still on. Rosier’s ruthless but Alastor's also allowed to kill. Oh the troubles love will get you into. It's not hard to believe that twins Gideon and Fabian Prewett are related to the likes of a Death Eater such as Antonin Dolohov. Most purebloods are related but Antonin actually spent a fair bit of time growing up with the Prewetts. But he still grew up to be a Death Eater and the twins into Order members. They promised to treat each other like any other opponent and that's when the twins threw Jane Sullivan at Dolohov. She was an Auror from Ireland and she began getting information out of him like crazy. Surprisingly, she also fell crazy in love with the Death Eater. Too bad her cover was blown when she was spotted with the Prewetts one day by four Death Eaters. Now Antonin's livid and wants to murder the twins...and Jane. Only thing holding him back is the Dark Lord and the feelings he has for Jane.
